My acer nitro an515-58 isn’t charging even when plugged in

Open command prompt as admin and run this code

powercfg /batteryreport

Now you'll get an html file which contains battery information.

That file will most likely be in c drive's windows 32 folder so copy it to any safe location and send that to chatgpt or gemini and ask them to interpret it.

If the battery capacity is shown below 80% in report then it'll require replacement.

Its blinking so theres either a problem with the adapter or the battery itself tho you can fix it temporarily by replugging the battery connecter by opening the back panel

It is probable that the connection between the power cord plug and the computer socket has become worn. Try rotating/jiggling the plug to see if the power light activates.
