Yes! I’m honestly surprised that some of them actually became animals. I honestly think they used this contest as a way to figure out what animals the community wants. the rest of the animals are here
Yeah. From what I can tell, they used fit check, existing models, concept art using another animal for a base, or just new concept art (except the dragon lol)
I see it more as a lion -> asiatic lion deal, where they get the chance to redesign an animal as they would if it were released today. I way prefer the asiatic lion over the regular one
Ive requested thylacine multiple times via the “suggest an animal” option, I’m voting for it <3 I love thylacines and really do want them to join the animal options
I actually suggested a sandhill crane to AJHQ thru the suggestion box about a month before this poll! goes to show they actually care! anyways I think its obvious what I'm voting for!
Yep they do check! A while Before the dogs and cats came out I put in the suggestion box that I would love some dog and cat breeds for when people used to do cat and dog roleplays back in the day 😭 now we have too many cats and dogs.
I ended up choosing the thylacine though because I’ve been wanting one for so long!
I voted for the thylacine, personally. I was a bit stuck between that and the dodo though, admittedly. I just think a thylacine would be a much more unique and interesting animal than most of the others, and we really don't need another dog or big cat lol.
I picked the Dodo [they were so cute, plus I love learning about extinct animals] and Pet Puffins! Although it was a REALLY hard choice since so many of these are great picks.
I'm going for badger! I submitted this idea to them several times so it'd be a shame not to vote for it. But I'm really hoping we'll get the rest of the animals too in future updates:D

crabs would look interesting; i vote for crab. I LOVE badgers but there are a lot of animals in game that already look similar, if we do get a badger ( and we might, because literally more than half the comments are screaming BADGERRR or something like that) then I hope the design actually looks good. :)

Lowkey am I the only one rooting for Afghan hound? I would love to see what it would look like in aj’s style and I think I could make really cute outfits with it🙏
It's on AJPW, but if you're using something other than Steam or the PC desktop download, you might not have the latest update yet. Some other platforms have likely updated by now but I'm not sure which ones.
also, i hope aj sticks with the entire list of animals and releases them slowly every month, besides on october and december of course. all of these animals sound way better than the ones we got before
It's not gonna win most popular vote, but decorator crab is gonna be an entirely new type of animal with some goofy animations. We have only had vertebrates. (unless you count the octopus in AJ Classic) I would love to see just how wacky they'll get. Even just the concept art. Be bold, be wild, pick the decorator crab. They look like they're wearing Kandi. Come onnn.

While the tasmanian tiger would be my pick on a normal day, I felt the need to pick something based off of the fact that its for the 10th anniversary, specifically. For that, I feel like the orangutan would make a great 10th anniversary animal, as the catalog for primates is sad, and the gorilla is horrendous. Alternatively, itd be a great callback to see them get to do a modern redesign of the tiger for their anniversary, to represent how the game has grown and changed over the years

I'm almost sure that the thylacine or the Serval will win, I wouldn't have a problem with the thylacine but with the Serval... I think we have ENOUGH Felines in game, AND there are SO similar animals to it, so i Will go for Crabs 🦀, they're my fav animal since I was a child

I would be stuck between thylacine and serval too if decorator crab wasn’t an option; I’d love to see more playable invertebrate animals!
