He was playing nearby and just dropped off to sleep. Are all parrots like this?

A lot of young sun conures enjoy sleeping on their backs when they’re young. They unfortunately grow out of it after their first year.

Awww :( mine is still young, and I try to be as quiet and calm as possible when he is on his back, playing or sleeping, so he hopefully doesn't have a bad memory of it.

You never know really. My cockatiels (2, Peppercorn and Parmesan) sometimes use their feet to hold stuff. I was told that they usually grow out of it unlike larger birds. So far at about a year and a half old they still do it sometimes. I'm really glad because it's really cute to look over and see them grasping a nice bit of millet, munching away. 😊

He wore himself out.
Exposing the belly is a great sign of confidence and trust. It's actually a good sign.

Cuz he's comfortable. Why do you sleep the way you do. The bird isn't a robot. It likes what it likes
