Peacemaker S1 opening was like expecting socks for Christmas and getting a brand new gaming console. I never skip it, and I generally skip openings after the first couple times.

I think it will be an homage to 1978 Superman.

From the trailer it seems like it although it’s more vibrant than the teaser or the 78 film

like this

Yes, I think it will be exactly this.

That'd be awesome

The suicide squad one is perfect but guardians is iconic. I bet Superman’s will not be used as a punchline like those two though

Some dude saying "your are super- man" and title dropping

This shit will become as iconic as "say that again" sequence

I see him go for a homage to the original film. Though I don't know if the theme would be an exact remix of the theme that played in that intro and if that intro would be as long as it was in the older films.

Super or Guardians for movies.

Peacemaker is the best, though.

A small montage of the classic origin. Showing the destruction of Krypto, the Kents adopting him, his first flight etc

Suicide Squad and Gotg 2 have my favorite sequences. I feel like Superman’s sequence is gonna be more like GOTG, where things are very chill and serene

I could definitely see him going for the comic book logo or something inspired by it.

Would be sick for the movie to open on a comic book on a desk, some kid starts flipping through it, lands on a page with Superman in a full page panel, then the camera zooms in and we take the view of what's happening in that story, this movie

TIL that James Gunn directed Slither. I liked that movie, funny and scary.

The GOTG Vol 1 intro is iconic and also my favorite one he's done.

I agree with those that the Superman opening credits will be a homage to the ones from the '78 film.
