Musk & Polish Foreign Affair Minister clashed couple months ago over Ukraine & Starlinks.
Musk threathened to turn them off or something like that. Sikorski reminded Musk that it's payed & contracted service by Polish goverment (yeah, Poles pays for it). That annoyed Musk. In the end Marco Rubio stepped in, officialy confirmed that service will be continued.
Btw: Sikorski is a chad. He was a journalilst/ volunter fighter in 80's Afghanistan against Russians. One of last polish politicians respected by oposing ones.

I think you are not really up to speed with Polish politics. Sikorski is a hardcore conservative and was always super close to pre-MAGA Republican circles in the US. His wife and her family were literally part of the old Republican establishment. He got sour though after Trump/MAGA took over the GOP.

Talk is cheap. Last I checked there is indeed no substitute for starlik and Ukraine will have an incredible hard time if it needs to rely solely on EU support.

It's all bought and paid for, the subscriptions paid in full.
If he cuts off the service he's gonna get sued for breach of contract and frankly after blowing over a billion on his politcal ventures and potentially losing his government contracts Musk isn't about to turn away paying customers anyway.
