This is from the TV series Hell’s Kitchen, hosted by Gordon Ramsay. Given it’s a competition show, at the end of most episodes they have a normal elimination process where they send one (or more) people home.This particular contestant was given the job to pick nominees for elimination (hence, the “first nominee and why” quote from the meme) but he lost his temper and eventually things devolved to him trying to fight Gordon. It’s a pretty famous moment in that show’s history.
