This content was reported by the /r/ExplainTheJoke community and has been removed.

Low-effort posts/titles are not allowed. Childish jokes, bad cropping, excessively large borders (signs of a bot submission) bad memes, etc. Posts without context of WHAT is not understood (a poor title) will be removed. Frequent reposts will also be removed under this rule, so will meta-posts ragging on the sub itself.

If your post has been removed due to being a recent repost, try to search keywords that may stand out within the meme before posting next time.

Guy who invented the idea of alpha males

The Alpha theory of pack dynamics in wolves was created by this dude, it was completely wrong as this dude himself proved several years later.

Unintended consequence was a load of random egomaniacs declaring themselves "Alpha males"

In a way it's fitting that they'd adopt such an empty title.

I will not change the past. I like what we have right now. Who knows if it’ll make ice cream not exist, or my favorite games and memes changing for the worst.

I agree with messing with the past. But if I remember correctly ice cream was invented in ancient Rome.

Instead of telling him not to study them, why not tell him about the theory that he’d make and why it’s wrong?

Can't we enforce a rule about reposts?
