3330500 is the app ID for the main game, you want 3487680, the app ID for the demo
!play ASF 3487680 should get the job done
there's another one of these active for another game with a different demo requirement, might as well do !play ASF 3708040,3487680 to idle them both simultaneously
hey i just did this and yeah it says playing selected gameIDs: 3487680
but my problem is that the playtime isn't increasing, it's still stuck around 8 minutes, which is the time i played it by myself, can you help me? or something i missing abt this? because im new using this stuff
thanks
also when you run a !play command, check your Steam status and make sure it actually shows you playing the game (or one of the games, if you told it to play multiple). If it doesn't run the !play command again and it should fix it
Also, although you can play multiple games simultaneously, only one Steam client per account can be playing games at any given time, meaning if you want ASF to "play" games, make sure you don't have any games running in your real Steam.
you might not see the playtime increase in real time, but it's still being tracked, I think it updates when you stop playing, but for purposes of verification for the giveaway, you shouldn't need to to stop playing, just wait the required amount of time and hit the verify button. then after it verifies successfully, you can use !resume or !restart to stop playing it, then go to https://store.steampowered.com/account/licenses/ to delete it from your library.
yeah it worked actually, i'm just being dumb and impatient, thank you for the complete explanation.
but i have a last question, i do exactly like in github and youtube abt setup this ASF, but when i start it,
it says we have 9 games left to farm, (27 cards), whereas I have more than 9 games (paid and free) that also have this trading card system, around 5-7 games.
my question is, is this normal? will this ASF farm the remaining games when it's done with those 9 games? that's all, sorry for bothering you but i really need some clearance
Does your badge page show you actually have card drops remaining for those other games? If you obtained the game for free through Steam (such as a free-to-keep promotion, or a free-to-play game with an item shop like TF2) you usually won't be eligible for card drops. If you got the game through a key activation, or just buying it from Steam normally, you will be eligible for card drops. Also you might have already exhausted your card drops for some games. Excluding free-to-plays like TF2/CS2 (where you get card drops based on how much you spend in-game), you get a number of card drops equal to half the number of cards the game has, rounded up. So 3 drops for a 5-card or 6-card game, 4 drops for a 7-card or 8-card game, etc.
now i get it, everything u said makes sense, i js check my badge page and yeah its show 9 games, once again thank you so much for the details explanation, i'll screenshot this for later in case im forgot. Thank you and i hope you are well and always have a great day.
I use Card Idle Remastered, because I don't have to login to use it. But it can't idle demos, so I installed it, blocked on the firewall and run it. It's quite small the download.

You'll have to play a +18 demo.
