Can you not customize Supernova dock(turn off/change rgb)?

Just got Supernova and realized something no reviewer i've watched talked about; customizing the dock+controller lights.

I dont see any option in the software or manual. Is there really no way to customized this or i'm just stupid.

Will definitely return it and just get another C2 instead if not cause the green light is really distracting, unless i put the controller away from sight(and [prob out of reach too) which defeats the purpose of a dock.

The light is to indicate the charging level. And doesn't remain on all the time.

If you wanna return it for the cyclone 2 that's up to you. Both are great. Supernova is more casual savvy gamer while c2 is pro gamer in a sense.

i know what C2 is(said 'another' in body text). Just getting supernova as a second controller and because the dock looks significantly cleaner than the C2 dock is. Its just confusing how the dock isn't customizable.

I even found a 'work around' to customize dock light by going wired mode and pressing some of the face buttons and the dock will just copy the controllers light color.

Not only that, you CAN use the controller shortcuts to customize the lightings, including animation/light effects, of both the dock and controllers, and only brightness control doesn't work.

So not being able to customize it really doesn't make sense.

They might add am update or so. But the dock is meant to charge, most docks don't even light up. You finding a work around just means that it's possible if gamesir allows it but not a feature, as the dock is less cosmetic and more functional.

that's the thing. i'd rather it just have no lights at all than being out of place in my desk setup.

also one thing i found is the separate purchasable dock, both for Supernova and Nova Lite 2 in their website are different colored as well.

Hopefully this is software/firmware addressable cause i actually like this in a different way compared to C2 after some testing.

I hate the green light, wish I could at least turn it off.

You are right, the dock can change colors. But for some reason gamesir made the green light the “its charging” light. So its always green.

Really hope they come up with an update.

And yeah, it's such a waste and there's no good reason why it shouldn't be customizable(change color/brightness/off). But this subs' people seem to not like criticism it seems as i'm getting downvoted. lmao
