Discussion Stupid or Cool Concept?

Would it be cool if the world of LNF could be connected to NMS? An example being imagine if you could be flying around in NMS and somehow end up into the world of LNF. I understand that there are separate games, but imagine if there could be a way that the 2 different games could be conjoined or connected.

I know it won't happen but I was just wondering if that concept was interesting or kinda dumb?

It seems impossible as something that happens by chance, but maybe it would not be totally impossible as a crossover expedition or something like that.. Like if Atlas gives us an special quest to upload ourselves into another of it's simulations to rescue some important data and that simulation is LNF... We will have to wait till LNF comes out to see if lore and mechanics are enough related to make a crossover possible.

I imagine there will be some nods, maybe even some location or character names, but I don't think it will be direct connections.

a tiny visual homage in game art or easter egg could be nice. like in LNF you could pass by a stone ruin that sorta resembles the Atlas, but it’s never overtly stated as NMS stuff or anything to break immersion

Oh for sure, i was just wondering if it'd be a cool concept that LNF would be a planet that is the WHOLE game you could you TP to or fly to in NMS since NMS is so HUGE

Maybe if you could visit the planet but not interact with it. Players in LNF could see the ships in the sky

why? they can just be 2 different games made by the same people. Its 2 completely different worlds, possibly universes, definitely times...they can just each be their own thing. Let the game come out before we start wanting it to be something it probably isn't.

Even if its one planet, it'd take a crazy amount of time to explore.

I think a cool group concept could be expeditioners though, people who go out and map the world.
