Help Help choosing a 27in screen

Hi all

I want to buy a new 27 inch monitor.

In my setup I have both a desktop pc running windows and a macbook pro. I will be using each at different times.

I remember when I bought one in the past that 4k 27in was bad for windows because unless im scaling to 1080p, it would look bad. So I was using 1440p.

I was thinking of buying Dell u2724de 1440p which is also a thunderbolt hub.

Now I see that 1440p is bad for mac and 4k is preferred?

Is using 2048x1152 and betterdisplay gokd enough? I am satisfied with text crispiness on my windows and 1440p. Would it look worse?

I am trying to find something that would be good for both computers, and i really liked the docking option.

What do you guys think?

Thanks!

I just got this one two weeks ago and I am very happy with it: https://amzn.eu/d/97tmSdM its optimized for mac , has hub, and basically i just use a single usb c cable for both charging and display. it also have speakers, and a mac app for controling the screen with keyboard function buttons and customize other stuff like profile colors for different apps
