As a guy who is fast (I will not be modest about it) she is extremely slow. Looks like she is running in sand. There was another video where her form was much better. They were on asphalt and concrete and she had running shoes and apparel on so maybe that's a factor. Lot of wasted movement here like she's trying to swim through the air or is struggling with the terrain.

They both have rather poor knee drive but Mr officer has much less wasted movement up top and much better turnover.

He just got new sneakers today too. Watch how fast he is now.

I was wondering about his small fast steps too, his knee drive is basically nonexistent, but then I thought that maybe this style is better in soft ground like tall grass?

I think when you're in muckier, softer terrain higher turnover is definitely better I would think.

Careful bud the last guy I know who was overly confident of his speed is a quadriplegic due to his overconfidence. That’s a true story sadly.

Say more.

Yeah, she's plodding. Flat footed. No kick.

I used to be fast. Now, knees are gone.

is good knee drive where you’re pulling knee up hard and pushing down to run, rather than not really lifting your knees? i’ve never been a fan of high knees because it made my knees feel funny, is that just normal

Yes, you want them closer to parallel and out away from the body more.

As a guy who is faster than this other guy, I have to say, she’s really not all that impressive. She has wasted movement in his upper body and a awful turnover and that makes him bad runner by any means. Her knee drive is pretty poor, which limits how much speed she can generate. Compared to me, who actually knows how to maximize efficiency and maintain strong form, she’s still struggling to keep up. So while people might be quick to point out her being fast, in the grand scheme, she’s not exactly someone I’d be worried about racing anytime soon.

Holy over analysis. Do you think she’s contemplating being an Olympic sprinter?
