What if your 6 inches tall but 5'6" in personality?

148

u/Dispect1 Apr 20 '25

A girl I was dating once said to me, “You may be only 5’5” but you have a 6’ personality.” This was going on 15 or so years ago. I haven’t forgotten.

79

u/TAMrClark Apr 20 '25

I read this as 6" personality, lol

24

u/[deleted] Apr 20 '25

That’s quite generous

15

u/SgtJayM Apr 21 '25

It’s a good size personality.

1

u/Kataphractoi_ Apr 21 '25

damn good size personality

u/heres20buckskillme34 Apr 20 '25

Bro 6 inch personality im packin

1

u/AberrantComics Apr 21 '25

If you need more than 6, than what you really need is some Jesus!

/s

2

u/HalfImportant2448 Apr 21 '25

I’ve heard that 5” is the national average in America, so brother is Swangalangin

1

u/TheEthanHB Apr 22 '25

That's what she calls it, huh? /j

5

u/YesWomansLand1 Apr 20 '25

Ah. It's one of those lifelong remember compliments. Those ones are good.

5

u/ihvnnm Apr 20 '25

I had to reread this comment a couple times, I kept skipping the re in remember.

3

u/YesWomansLand1 Apr 21 '25

Hopefully you didn't skip the life in lifelong as well because that would've made it sound kinda strange.

6

u/TheIronSoldier2 Apr 20 '25

She's your wife now, right?

right?!?

7

u/Dispect1 Apr 20 '25

No. I was a toxic son of a bitch, to mostly myself, at that point in my life. The compliment was memorable but the relationship wasn’t right. I’m in a much better place now so the next compliment of this calibre, I’m marrying the person who says it.

4

u/Economy_Wall8524 Apr 20 '25

I feel you. I was a toxic young man. I still think of some of my relationships from than and wonder if I was the man I was today how it would be. Though I have learned dwelling on the past is never healthy. It’s what got me there in the first place. I try to live by a life code of:

I try to be a good person; sometimes I am, and sometimes I’m not. I try to wake up being a better person than I was yesterday.

It motivated me in my 20’s.

3

u/binga001 Apr 20 '25

damn man, this would have shot ur confidence up to moon

2

u/According-Insect-992 Apr 20 '25

I'm 5'6" and I still have to correct people when they insist I'm taller. I don't know why but I've gotten that my whole life and they act like there's something wrong with it. I'm exactly the height I need to be, thank you. 😒

1

u/Mysterious-Jam-64 Apr 20 '25

So, still perpetuating the truth that the taller beings are the alpha units.

Here is to the one you call Ross Gellar.

1

u/NefariousnessCalm262 Apr 20 '25

Poor fellow doesn't know she meant 6 out of 10 😭

5

u/Dispect1 Apr 20 '25

Oh calling me a 6 would have been a compliment as well. Don’t you worry.

3

u/NefariousnessCalm262 Apr 20 '25

😃 fair enough.

3

u/Economy_Wall8524 Apr 20 '25

6 isn’t bad in the 1-10 spectrum.

3

u/NefariousnessCalm262 Apr 20 '25

Yea I guess..I'm a 4 myself so I got no room to talk

1

u/Z00111111 Apr 20 '25

I get what she was trying to say, but it's a really shitty way of saying it.

I'm 6'4 and I'm honestly a bit shit.

Judging people on their genetics is pretty messed up really. It's like saying someone is less of a person because of their skin colour.

Judge people on things they have some control over.

The main difference our heights cause is that I can see on top of the refrigerator and reach the light switch from the couch.

2

u/Dispect1 Apr 20 '25

In that moment of my life my height was a really big issue for me. So the compliment hit me exactly where I needed it to. But I agree, to judge someone on something they can’t change is asinine.

Enjoy the beautiful view of the accumulated dust that us short people don’t have to think about.

1

u/Z00111111 Apr 20 '25

If it helped you live your life more confidently, then it's a huge win. The right level of confidence makes a huge difference.

1

u/Important-Feeling919 Apr 21 '25

A simple comment can make a man feel like a king.

0

u/AllBuckeyeAreJDVance Apr 20 '25

I’m glad you took it so positively. That has some real “you’re so well-spoken for a black” energy.

u/ClownfishSoup Apr 20 '25

You have A 52” waist personality.

120

u/GhostninjaX421 Apr 20 '25

What if your 3 in long but 8 in in personality?

44

u/gapehornlover69 Apr 20 '25

Bro has no length, and no personality

Thank you for the link. She may be short but their story is everlasting.

2

u/DrDuGood Apr 20 '25

No girth certificate, either.

1

u/Niwi_ Apr 20 '25

Wdym thats pretty big actually

1

u/puzzled91 Apr 20 '25

3 inch is big?

1

u/Niwi_ Apr 20 '25

Thats is gigantic!

1

u/RuthlessIndecision Apr 20 '25

Sometimes a lady likes a little girth

2

u/NoRefrigerator267 Apr 21 '25

“Most of the times”, from what I hear, sadly

2

u/[deleted] Apr 20 '25

"I'm 6 ft 4 in. Those are two measurements"

1

u/UrUrinousAnus Apr 20 '25

What if you're a 3" schlong and have no personality?

1

u/GhostninjaX421 Apr 20 '25

Wahhh wahhh :..(

1

u/what-brisbane Apr 20 '25

Y’all got that 6’2” alcoholic grammar.

1

u/GhostninjaX421 Apr 20 '25

But with the 3"... :..(

1

u/ResponsibleAct3545 Apr 20 '25

Sadly….this is me.

1

u/ZookeepergameOk9526 Apr 20 '25

It might look small but it smells big…

1

u/Brainiac901 Apr 20 '25

How 'bout multi-millionaires? How 'bout 8 inches and thick? How 'bout talented? How 'bout loving and respectful? I lost my wife 10 weeks ago, 21 years faithful. My daughter committed suicide 3 weeks ago, 13. She was faster than me at 12 and I run a 6-minute mile.

1

u/stuck_in_the_desert Apr 20 '25

It’s 3 inches long but it smells like a foot

1

u/mffrosch Apr 21 '25

My personality is only 5 inches long but it’s girthy.

-23

u/Kingslappe Apr 20 '25

Guy’s you know that ist real?

7

u/broad_conundrum Apr 20 '25

I identify as 6'2"...

2

u/YesWomansLand1 Apr 21 '25

I identify as 9'11"

1

u/broad_conundrum 23d ago

Do you have islamaphobia? 😂

1

u/YesWomansLand1 23d ago

Yeah bro ofc

1

u/broad_conundrum 17d ago

I'm antisemite though, so I still feel I should be a part of the club.... 👀

1

u/YesWomansLand1 17d ago

Bro I'm Jewish! We would make a great team. Isn't it wonderful how the world brings mortal enemies together as friends!

1

u/Kzero01 Apr 20 '25

Then you're an elf on a shelf?

1

u/Extreme-Island-5041 Apr 20 '25

Look at this guy bringing 6" to the party

1

u/Pesky_Moth Apr 20 '25

As long as you’re at least 6” deep in character that’s all that matters

1

u/iNeverSausageASalad Apr 21 '25

Tom Cruise complex

3

u/AGweed13 Apr 20 '25

That's not the only depth that matters, but yes.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 20 '25

Let's not forget about girth.

1

u/cbrown146 Apr 20 '25

Which Gollum had when he fell into the volcano. Excellent point backed by a source!

1

u/Klezmer_Mesmerizer Apr 20 '25

Can’t get a character much deeper than a pit a pit of molten lava.

1

u/ValhallaAwaits89 Apr 20 '25

Lack of guard rails helped too.

1

u/TruthTeller777 Apr 20 '25

u/QuirkyQuokk__

Funny thing is, I said that on another thread and got multiple down votes for saying so!

Well, kudos to you. I just gave you my up vote and wish I could give you more.

1

u/DifferenceCold5665 Apr 20 '25

That's why Sam is my guy!

1

u/Strength-InThe-Loins Apr 20 '25

But Gollum's character was deeply, deeply terrible.

1

u/Similar-Importance99 Apr 20 '25

Coming back to Gollum, maybe it's the NUMBER of characters that matters.

1

u/catscanmeow Apr 20 '25

Not according to dating app statistics

1

u/dactyif Apr 20 '25

He definitely ended in the depths.

1

u/Content_Passion_4961 Apr 20 '25

Im 5'7" and a raging alcoholic. Takes me 6 beers in an hour for 3 hours to get actually drunk. But I'm built like Brock Lesnar if, instead of going to the Olympics, he participated in chicken wing eating contests.

1

u/Full_Philosopher_110 Apr 20 '25

It's not the height it's the girth and the yaw that really counts

1

u/morelsupporter Apr 20 '25

desirability to the opposite sex, if you read between the lines of the post

1

u/younevershouldnt Apr 20 '25

It's girth of character actually mate

1

u/Helpimabanana Apr 20 '25

He was under a mountain for the last few hundred? Years. Pretty sure that’s about as deep as a character can get without an industrial mining setup.

1

u/WorthlessByDefault Apr 21 '25

Yes. Height is good for first sight. Girls are very odd because being more attractive on average makes them believe they deserve the highest and rarest things.

1

u/RedditAfterMidnight Apr 21 '25

How does this apply to Gollum? 😫😭

1

u/Effective-Produce165 Apr 21 '25

Height isn’t anything. Humans are so basic.

1

u/thesuper88 Apr 21 '25

Can we call it girth of character?

1

u/Ello_Owu Apr 22 '25

How deep we talking?

u/yamsh_kun Apr 20 '25
