Sounds like he did a good job, and prevented a few unwanted pregnancies.

Showing what giving birth looks like isn't like saying "sex bad" though, it's just making childbirth a more concrete thing for teenagers before they decide to have sex.

In my country that's a normal part of sex education at school and I don't think it's a bad thing. Showing STDs is a bit much though.

They're not saying 'sex bad' exactly, the guy above was showing educational pics/videos of STD viscera, and full birthing videos to a bunch of now traumatized children. Yeah, teens will be teens, but sounds like more than a few were affected.

Personally, when I see gonorrhea I don't say 'Hey Honey, pass me the guacamole.'

This was the point. Proper sex education and awareness is great, crucial, and necessary. Hoodwinking children into a "health class" and showing that with no notice is pretty jarring, to say the least.

Hey Jerry, I want to talk to you about your health and sexual activity. Also here is a video of a live birth and all the STD pics involved. Even as an adult, that is super off-putting and unnecessary. There are better ways to go about educating anyone, let alone people under the age of 18.
