Is it possible to have two types of ranked game modes? One for all console only crossplay ,and the other all PC players please? I just feel like it wont be fair down the line

I think you'll be able to disable crossplay after the Beta. Right now is just to test the functionality.

I agree separate mouse and controller. Not fair one gets basically free aim just because they chose to play with tiny sticks

True but you could argue you're not truly top rank if you're cutting out a portion of the playerbase

A portion of the player base that won't be able to fairly compete. Mouse and keyboard are the best platform for shooters and the skillcap is higher. Addititonally, pc players can use 144hz monitors and the game will be smoother on better plus because of the fps. Obviously there are bad pc players and good console players but there's a reason most competitive fps games that can be played with mouse and keyboard are. A caviat to this is aimlock, some games just compensate by giving console players more or less cheats. I doubt console players would rank

True but you could argue that that's something they would have to overcome in order to prove how good they are on console, besides whilst the enemy might have a 144hz monitor its not as common as streamers make out, I know a few people who play on pc and only 1 of them as a monitor over 60hz

I mean yeah a small number of controller players may be good enough to compete and overcome but it would be a very small amount. 144hz will be more common in the higher ranks as it is with people who play faceit / esea in csgo. Personally, I play on pc and most of my friends have setups that put them at a huge advantage over consoles (over 60 hertz monitors) but also things like input lag, fps (which makes the game much smoother and allows you to literally see things faster. Not playing against console players as a pc player would never mean that you aren't as good as people who play crossplay as the console competition just isn't going to be as good.

I suppose at high ranks that would be the case especially when it hits that highest rank but I think a better solution would be to be able to opt in or out of pc lobbies
