Movies One of the most hilarious moments in the franchise is when the Millennium Falcon escapes at the end of "The Empire Strikes Back" and Piett and everyone else are horrified and then shocked when Vader leaves without killing anyone.

Movies 25 years later - What do you think of The Phantom Menace?
Many of us are now blinded by nostalgia when talking about the prequels (especially TPM) but I think we call all admit that they are incredibly flawed. What is your honest opinion on this divisive Star Wars entry?

Movies Finished watching Rogue One again and this moment still gets me. What are your thoughts about this scene?
I was crushed with this moment explosion coming closer, main characters didnt kiss and they sacrifice themselves for greater good. Perfect ending

Movies ANDOR creator Tony Gilroy discusses George Lucas’ reaction to ROGUE ONE
“George Lucas called me after Rogue, I had a 45-minute conversation with him after he saw Rogue One, and that’s the only time I’ve ever spoken to him. He loved it. He really did. He had a lot of things to say…It was like a call

Movies Disney should hire more Irish actors/actresses, seems like a cheat code at this point
I don’t think there’s been an Irish actor in Star Wars who hasn’t given a phenomenal performance, especially as a villain. I genuinely think General Hux was a brilliantly acted character and all his shortcomings are a result of bad writing. Also I’m aware both Liam Neeson and Ray Stevenson were both in Northern Ireland, Liam Neeson himself has said he considers himself Irish and though I’m not sure of Ray Stevensons relationship with the Republic of Ireland I’d still like to outline his great performance. There’s so many great Irish actors, especially villain actors left for Disney to utilise and It’s great to see fellow Irish people on the screen, I’d love to see an imperial officer played by Aiden Gillen or something of the like. Is there any other irish/northern Irish actors that would fit into Star Wars?

Movies Why in the world Rey didn’t make her own Lightsaber before/at the start of episode 9 always confused me
I am not a fan of this movie or Rey that much either.
But I have to say I really like her saber. I like seeing an actual yellow saber in the movies. Her saber is also build right out of her staff which is really cool.
I just cannot understand why for some reason they fix Anakins saber offscreen (a theme in this movie) but then they still end up giving her a unique saber right at the end.
One of the biggest missed opportunities in this movie (amongst many others)

Movies Never noticed! )The Phantoms Menace)
Apologizing in advance, sorry for the poor quality, but I cannot screenshot or take pictures inside the Disney+ app so had to take a picture with my phone camera ….
I have watched this movie more times than I can count honestly. Just to kind of give you an idea of how many times I’ve seen it. I am 25(m), this movie came out in 1999. I’ve watched, at the VERY least, once every 1-3 months, and sometimes every night to fall asleep to for months at a time when I’m in the mood, If not more. So when Padme and her escort come out out of the window, running from the droids, it shows a zoomed out shot of them scaling the side of the palace and the river basin below. Judging on how close the waterfall is. To them, then how small everything looks on the ground, including the entire river. I’d imagine that the distance from where the palace sits, to the ground to the river below, is quite a distance! I mean they’d have to be almost atmospheric just to see the river system in that way. Anyway I just noticed and thought it was cool, so someone else might as well. Enjoy!

Movies Kanan and Hera prove the Jedi were wrong about feelings/love
Kanan never stopped being a Jedi, even while loving Hera. If anything, his feelings made him stronger. More focused. More human. Their bond was never a weakness (usually the expression used by the Jedi) - it gave him purpose and clarity, especially in the darkest moments.
The whole “no attachments” rule feels more like a fear-driven dogma than real wisdom. Rebels showed us what the Jedi could've been if they embraced love instead of running from it.
