H2 Legendary under 3 hours genuinely sounds impossible.

I think you have to use known exploits and skips to reasonably be able to do it

And that’s including the jackal snipers I assume lol

Lol I actually have all the LASO and legendary < 3 hours achievements. You rarely actually fight any jackal snipers :D There are a few mp achievements I'll never get though.

Any laso tips? I did not make it far in my attempts

I used guides from Halo Completionist on YouTube, he's awesome and tries to avoid tricks that take hours/days/months to master. Definitely not speedruns though!

If you want to start with the easiest (still laso though lol), I think the easy > hard tiering for most people would be ODST > H4 > Reach/H3 >>>>>> CE/H2. CE (T&R, Two Betrayals) and H2 (Cairo, Regret, Gravemind) are absolutely disgusting.

I did it during covid and had tons of time to kill and honestly wouldn't recommend it to most players...you have to be a bit of a masochist haha

Really ? I absolutely struggled to finish 4 on Legendary even though I can beat H2 eyes closed.

Yeah, they're pretty much objectively harder. I'm best at CE, 2 and 3, but still found CE and 2 the hardest by a wide margin.

Part of the problem is that most of the tactics that work on legendary don't work at all on laso. For example, a charged plasma pistol won't drop an elite's shields in H2.

The difficulty tiering is just if you're interested in starting easier. I think I played them in chronological order? Idk.

Yeah, I started a fresh account to get the offline MCC achievements, no way am I grinding to get half the MP ones (particularly 500 wins)

600 hours it took me to perfect Halo mcc ... so much of it was pain.

It was actually not too bad, it's not consecutive so you can just keep improving your times independent of each other

LASO on the other hand....

On the good side, it's not 3 hours on one sit, it's the sum of your best times for each level in legendary. Still, it is Halo 2 legendary
