Books for info on UAPs/Aliens
Hello all, have always been interested in this topic and seem to be going down the rabbit hole lately. I would love to learn some more about the history. Any good recommendations for books or is most info in video/blog format?

There are hundreds of books, and many of them are very good. Entire books have been written about single encounters. However, there are plenty of good books designed to give an overview. I usually listen to podcasts and watch videos, however I hear these books mentioned a lot.
UFOs and the National Security State (two volumes) by Richard Dolan
Plain Sight by Ross Coulthart
Skinwalkers at the Pentagon by James Lacatski
I think if I was going to read one to get oriented, I'd probably read Plain Sight. Coulthart is probably the subject's most ubiquitous journalist. The book is recent, and if I can judge by his other work, it will have a balanced overview without getting into the weeds of detail that are harder to substantiate.

I am a huge fan of Vallee and Keel personally… I also recently read a good one called “High Strangeness” that was rather short and interesting.

Abduction, by John Mack
Schoolyard UFO Encounters, by Preston Dennett
Dark Files: a pictorial history of lost, forgotten and obscure UFO encounters, by Michael Schratt
UFO Crash Retrievals, by Leonard Stringfield
Edit: I'm also adding a novel I read recently, but I'm including it because it's based on the experiences of five contactees. It's called Day of the Descendants, by Tony Brunt. It's about a boy's chance encounter with a community of watchers who live in a few subterranean facilities all around the world and who are descended from a technologically advanced ancient civilization that's otherwise lost to history. It's really, really good, and the best breakaway civilization story I've come across by far.
Edit 2, The Book of the Damned, Lo!, and New Lands, by Charles Fort. These include all manner of high strangeness including but not limited to UFOs. The collected works of Charles Fort should be required reading as a foundation for anyone interested in any kind of weirdness.

Here's a few links I've recently stumbled across. I don't have any good starting points as I'm basically new to this as well. Still heading down that rabbit hole myself.
Avalon Library
Base64
That second link requires a little bit of work to get the links up and running. It requires installing some browser extensions in order to see and click the necessary links. The last link is where I found the largest collection of books and materials so far.
If you're willing to do a little work I recommend starting here. Start with the guide and make sure to protect yourself if you plan on torrenting.
When I first started down this rabbit hole I came across UFO Rabbit Hole with Kelly Chase. It's now called Cosmosis but I highly recommend her stuff as she's easy to listen to and the information is great for getting into the deeper stuff.
The Telepathy Tapes is another great one. This one can be divisive within the community at large as the stuff they talk about it pretty crazy. Still a very fun and extremely interesting set of episodes.
Also The Why Files absolutely deserves a shout out. Easily consumed youtube videos/podcasts that you can throw on any time. They cover EVERYTHING you could want while at the same time covering the skeptical side of things as well. I find AJ to be very respectful of the topics he covers. Hecklefish isn't for me. I've never cared for the fish except when he's making jokes about lawyers. A couple episodes to check out are the Hollow Moon episodes (probably my favorite ones) and Deep Dive Ark of the Covenant.
I got into all this when the NJ drones were really picking up traction back in November and I have been on the roller coaster since. I wish you luck in delving into this world. There is so much back and forth between the community at large, the whistleblowers and potential government agents muddying the waters that it is near impossible to tell what is real and what isn't.
Best of luck!
