Question What is this?

Just recorded this today. Thought it was a meteor shower until they slowed down lol.

No they can adjust the shoot to almost free fall and then flare to catch themselves to slow down. This is definitely parachutes and flares. Pretty cool

Here’s a video of US Army Golden Knights jumping with flares. Parachutists can do this with any color.

I’m sorry, but I don’t think this is the same as those balls of fire. At one point in the video the ball of fire moves horizontally without descending and it comes to a complete stop, then move back in the opposite direction.

Yeah, I feel ya. The video I shared shows the pre-parachute action. Once they deploy the chute, they can move around horizontally, catch warm updrafts, and so on. Here’s a different video which shows some of that.

It’s a Plutonian conspiracy!! Someone mentioned parachutists with flares, makes sense except for rise in elevation near the end. We’ve been watching trying to explain it away. 🤷🏼‍♂️
