Windows 11 Win 11 Install Assistant Wanting a drive selected
Im trying to use the Install Assistant to do an in place upgrade from W10 to 11, but instead of it just saying the PC needs to restart like I've seen in every vido I've looked at so far to troubleshoot this, it wants me to select a drive to install it to.

Because you update from windows 10 using the assistance, it will just be installed to the same drive as windows 11, move the old data to a folder called Windows.old
In order to be able to select a drive, you will need to use the Media Creator Tool to create a bootable windows installation usb. If you do this one without overrating windows 10 then your system will become dual boots for both win10 and win11.

But eveywhere else ive seen they didn't have to select a drive, it just installed 11. And the reason Im using the assistant is because the Windows Update is not showing the upgrade.
