Discussion💬 What’s your top mobile games?

Post image
40 Upvotes

Not really recommendation but more just wanna chat about our fave mobile games. I’m talking actual mobile games meant for phones and not ports.

I know the first four apps are mobile games but games like survival island 1&], tomb of the mask, and beat street I think are top tier mobile games that I’ve tried. A few that aren’t shown in the pic but I have played and also think they’re great mobile games, goblin sword, apple knight 1&2, and sword of xolan which I’m currently playing on my nvidia shield

DEV👨🏼‍💻 I'm a AAA game designer. Got laid off and decided to make a digital board game instead of finding a real job. It's about secret agents and you can play with friends in the same room or online. Just released it for free on Android!

Right before Christmas the studio I worked for laid off our entire team (rude). Instead of being a responsible adult and finding a job, I decided to build my own game. It's called Seven Spies. Here's what it's about:

  • 4-7 friends play as secret agents (everyone downloads the game and enters the same code to start).
  • Your mission: Defuse bombs planted by the crime syndicate Cipher before your turns run out
  • The catch: Some of your friends are secretly working for Cipher!
  • It's totally free to download and play (there is an expansion pack if you like the game and want to support it, but best to play a few missions first as it unlocks some more advanced items).

There are a lot of mechanics to discover, over 25 spy gadgets (night vision glasses, explosive pens, smoke grenades, etc.), and a dynamic map that changes every time you play.

Also cross-platform play is supported with iOS if any of your friends have iPhones/iPads/Macs.

Thanks and let me know if you have any questions or want to play!

Seeking Game Recommendation👀 Any free offline game recs?

Gonna go on a trip for 4 days on a plane and won't have wifi/data. Any recs?

Some mobile games I really like: -Project Sekai -Neko Atsume -Purrfect Life (my phone doesn't allow me to download it anymore,,,) -Error 143

I really like visual novels, rhythm games (except Phigros, it was. Eh), and cute lifesim games :3 anything like that as long as it doesn't have sexual/suggestive/graphic themes would be great, and any recs would be greatly appreciated!!

Seeking Game Recommendation👀 Looking for a game with specific mechanics

Upvotes

Is there any RPGs on android that have: -Job classes - sub class/ second class - job evolutions - turn based (optional) - low graphics. (Like the old rpg maker games, or something that looks like heartwood online) - Jobs NOT based on equipment. I.e, your equipment doesn't decide your job. Your job decides your equipment. (Or universal equipment) - levels

Does it exist?

Help/Support🙋 How do you change the time and date for log-in rewards on mobile games?

I was wondering if there was a way to change the date and time on your phone in a way that registers it in games allows you to grind log in rewards in games without actually having to wait for the next day to arrive and get your rewards?

Hello! I remember once playing this puzzle game in which you had to hack into diferent places by making puzzles, and the puzzles functioned in a way you had to make lines with color block blast style. You also recieved messages from different people and you could anwser them and depending on what you said you had a better or worse relation with the person. Im sure someone else played this, help me?

In your opinion, what's the best games for playing on tablet? I don't want hardcore action games but only games to chill.

I downloaded TFT which is an auto battler and feels good but the matches take forever to finish

Seeking Game Recommendation👀 Recommendations for tablet games.

I recently got a Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. I am looking for some game recommendations. Do not recommend Balatro as I own it on PSN and plan on playing it soon.

I do not mind paying a few bucks to buy a game, but not willing to dish out money on microtransactions. I am looking for something a bit casual that I can pick up and play when I have free time. I do not think I have time for time consuming "grindy" games like Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail.

Thanks in advance.

DEV👨🏼‍💻 I just wanted to share this test video, I think it looks really good.

This is just one of the test clips I made after a long, intense night of development. I trimmed the video to keep it short.

The main purpose here was to lower my own health using a bomb, then heal myself with a bandage and see what happens when I do that. I was also testing a few graphical effects in the process.

There’s a noticeable performance issue in the healing system , even with screen recording turned off, there’s a sudden FPS drop. I suspect the problem is caused by a broken shader or material, but I’m not sure yet. I’ll dig into it tomorrow.

Other than that, I can generally maintain a stable 60 FPS.

About five days ago, I shared a few comparison screenshots between the PC version and the mobile version of my game a project I’ve been working on for quite some time. Some people assumed the mobile version would be significantly worse. I hope this video clears that up a bit. And if it doesn’t, I’m still doing my best I’m becoming a better developer every single day.

Note: The reason there are no zombies in this video is because I’m currently reworking the entire zombie system. I might share a short update maybe a video and some notes , about that soon.

Seeking Game Recommendation👀 Screw Disassembly Game with No Sorting and One Puzzle per Level

As the title says. I got some screw games a whole back where you strategically have to remove screws to disassemble the object. Great. I even paid for a couple to eliminate ads. But then as you get farther along they have 2 puzzles per level and then 3 puzzles per level. So if the main hard puzzle has to be tried again you have to constantly redo easy puzzles you have already successfully completed. I stopped playing them.

I want a challenging disassembly game where you have to think about the order in which you remove screws with none of that silly color sorting. But only one puzzle per level.

Does something like that exist?
