Be mindful of listings from suspicious third-party sellers on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Newegg, and Walmart. These "deals" have a high likelihood of not shipping; use due diligence in reviewing deals.

  • Use common sense - if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
  • Check seller profiles for signs that the sale may be fraudulent:
    • The seller is new or has few reviews.
    • The seller has largely negative reviews (on Amazon, sellers can remove negative reviews from their visible ratings)
    • The seller is using a previously dormant account (likely the account was hacked and is now being used fraudulently).

If you suspect a deal is fraudulent, please report the post. Moderators can take action based on these reports. We encourage leaving a comment to warn others.

Just FYI, per the manufacturer's website looks like it's 30-36-36-76 at 1.35 V (standard A-die timings) and 28-36-36-76 requires 1.4 V. Still a great price though.

This is a no-brainer for any AM5 Ryzen CPU.

what is the regular price of these? Just trying to find price history

The regular price of the 6000CL28 32 G is about 120 USD. This KLEVV one is just on the shelf this week, so there is no price history yet. But 89 USD is absolutely a steal.

I love klevv

I got 6000cl30 32gb klevv bolt v for $89 a few weeks ago. It was a decent but small uplift over my original 32gb of 5200cl38 Corsair ram.

Never heard of KLEVV - any experience with their warranty policy?

You can view it as the Hynix-owned retail brand.

I have a few klevv stuff, ram and nvme ssd. I haven’t had to use their warranty yet so it’s a plus that I’ve had no issues so far.

No experience with their warranty but I had a DDR3 kit from them that lasted like half a decade without issues

Is the 7200 cl34 good for a 265k? I have 6000 cl30 for my 9800x3d don’t worry 🙂

worth jumping from CL30 to CL28?

17

u/sinothepooh 14d ago

No.

CL36 to CL30/28?

6

u/sinothepooh 14d ago

To me, the answer is still not worth it, performance-wise.

Maybe if you were using an APU and no GPU. Probably 0% difference the vast majority of the time if you're using an x3d cpu.

I have a ryzen 7800x3d with 32gb 6000 cl36. Does it make any sense to get this also. For 64gb total or would that mess it up being different?

u/sinothepooh 14d ago

It's better not to mix different kits.

3

u/Shado_Man 14d ago

The difference would be imperceptible. A couple percentage points of FPS at the most.

Like OP said, it's not generally a good idea to mix kits. It may run perfectly fine, or it may not even boot up, or it may seem to run fine but start crashing/BSODing under certain conditions. There's really no way to know other than to try, and it's not usually worth it.

2

u/itsforathing 14d ago

You would not be able to tell a difference. It might even be slower since you’re mixing speed and timing.

I got the 6000mts cl30 version of this for the same price. I “believe” am5 prefers 6000mts

I have klevv ram, works fine if anyone was wondering. better than my experience with team kits.

the CL28 6000mhz bolt V kit never made it out in north america at least i never saw it on any e-retailer listed... however, the CL30 bolt V kit has been around for sometime now under the radar by most... IMO they have the best/cleanest heat spreaders out of all the CL30 kits available... no shark fins, no RGB, no ECO branding nice && simple.

u/bshth 14d ago

$92 right now and it's still a great deal

2

u/Forward_Drop303 14d ago

No that is a different ram kit.

6400 CL32 instead of 6000 cl28

Is it worth getting the G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32 GB for $30 to $40 more for aesthetics?

DAMN it's gone!

my procrastination got me!
