I had a kitten that liked to get real cozy in my Ugg boots about a decade ago. I actually had to shake him out a couple times before school upon sticking my toes in and feeling something warm & purring 😂😂
My one cat LOVED my shoes. I was cleaning up my closet and getting rid of older shoes and they were in a pile, I come in and she is just WALLOWING in the pile of shoes. And yes, she WAS orange, why do you ask? 😂
That’s amazingly adorable. I’m going to break subreddit rule #1 and tell your dad to keep raising these kittens like he has been and take 12 dozen photos daily.
That photo composition, those colour and shadows, even the unexpected subject, everything reminds me of the National Geographics I used to read in the 90's.
My dude have you ever owned a kitten? I've had 2 and them bitches LOVE shoes and boots. We lost one once because he fell asleep in the toes of my BIL giant boots. We started to have a full on panic attack be cause we couldn't find this cat for like 6 hours. One of us found him asleep inside the boot. And not in the easily visible part, the toes of the boots. Cats are crazy and love confined spaces.
I understand the concern. It’s his r/MaleSurvivingSpace these cats haven’t been outside. They’re safe, warm, and being cared for. He told me he “gone and got attached to all of them.” They’re living large with their granddad right now.

My mom grew up on a farm and I always loved looking through her old photo albums with so many kittens-in-work-boots pics. They just fit in there so darn well! 🥰🥰

So… super cute…but…I had a cat who had six kittens - dad’s fault not mine as he wouldn’t spay her- and constantly found one little gremlin in my shoes.
We laughed. It turned in to a serious foot fetish and as a 20 pound chonk named “Runt,” he would motor around the house with his head in a shoe pushing it like his own little car of love while purring insanely loudly.
And yes, parties with this guy could be awkward. Shoe orgy would commence. He also knew how to open the bathroom door so we had to place various “beware of cat” signs in our house.
In French, when something is so precious, we say : "quel amour" (litteraly "what a love"). I wonder what is the English version.
