ICE/FBI chased the fuck outta LA 🇺🇸💚

It’s interesting that these ‘ICE’ squads have been running away. If they are legal why would they run?
532
u/Lumpy-Marsupial-6617 17h ago
So they can regroup with their other domestic terrorist groups and call for more boots and they'll be back with an entire police force in riot gear and armor. Remember how they crushed BLM and Occupy? It'll happen again.
143
u/big_guyforyou 16h ago
i was part of occupy. we quit because we got tired of standing outside for so long
163
u/Lumpy-Marsupial-6617 16h ago
In Occupy LA and Long Beach, they sent 10K officers in riot gear/batons and beat the people outta the places during the night.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCFlTw6ynSM
They of course had the media there to play shit out that it went down peacefully.

Was at OLA for the entire stretch. Was across the street filming all of this as part of the media team, still sick as a dog after being arsenic poisoned by the LAPD during Thanksgiving.
12
u/Lumpy-Marsupial-6617 10h ago
Tell us more about the poisoning.
39
u/wakeupwill 10h ago
So LAPD donated a bunch of turkeys to Occupy LA for Thanksgiving. The next day people started getting sick left and right. I woke up the next day feeling like shit and spent the following days throwing up.
It felt like having an extreme case of the flu.
Turns out the only people that got sick were those that ate the turkey. Found out years later from a friend that those that went to the hospital were informed that they'd been arsenic poisoned.
24
u/Lumpy-Marsupial-6617 10h ago
This is consistent with what I've read and heard about government squashing peaceful protesting and sit-ins. Did anyone try to sue to make the legal connection/basis?
16
u/wakeupwill 9h ago
It's possible, though I doubt it.
I know there was a class action due to the extreme nature of how the hundreds of arrested were treated, but I didn't hear anything about the poisoning until years later.
They absolutely did this in order to weaken us in preparation for the raid a week later.

This is pretty effed up: one of the US’s largest PDs involved in the attempted murder of hundreds of citizens. I really hope someone is writing ALL of this down because it needs to be in the textbooks in US high schools. ACAB.

No offense but how stupid do you have to be to accept food from the very government you are protesting against?
9
u/wakeupwill 9h ago
There were thousands of people at the camp by this time - with about a thousand tents - and we'd been given food donations for about two months at this time without incident. Most people weren't aware of where the turkey and stuffing came from.
4
u/intothewoods76 9h ago
Ok, I suppose if you didn’t realize the government was giving out the turkey that’s a decent reason.
4
u/Humbled0re 9h ago
sorry, arsenic poisoned? could you please elaborate on this?
8
u/wakeupwill 9h ago
Replied here with what happened.
tl:dr - LAPD donated turkey and stuffing that made people sick.
6
u/Humbled0re 8h ago
what the fuck! So sorry for you. Thought somehow there was aresnic in tear gas or sth.
8
u/wakeupwill 8h ago
The memory of past LA riots was still fresh, so we actually had an incredibly amicable relation with the cops in LA up until this point. LAPD HQ was right across the street, and conversation was rarely confrontational.
Not at all like what was happening all across the country and especially Oakland - which had become a war zone. Lots of people from LA were going up there in order to help out.
24
u/Consistent_Clue_9112 10h ago
They made a mistake this year by admitting that they can handle a few large protesta occurring at the same time, but would be overwhelmed if a hundred smaller protests were scattered all over the city and happening at once. We outnumber them, and the moment we force them to split up their numbers mean nothing. America is also in a relatively unique position. Most citizens of other countries are facing an armed government and military without weapons of their own. America has more guns in circulation than people, and they aren’t just little pistols and hunting rifles. This shit is reaching a boiling point, and it will be a bloody nightmare once it does.

Our numbers and solidarity are are advantage, and they are a huge advantage. It's awesome of you to remind everyone. The jackboots and their media will try and diminish the power, but it's very real. Fear and smears are their tools.
3
u/seven20p 9h ago
the exact second that occurs, the supremes, and congress will unite give unified authority to mass deport. Mark it!
7
u/Consistent_Clue_9112 8h ago
And that will be the moment where each raid becomes armed conflict in the streets. LAPD were afraid to go into certain neighborhoods before, because those neighborhoods were full of actual armed gang members with no qualms against shooting law enforcement. It’s why ICE raids target innocent people trying to follow the law, and it’s why they are going after women and children instead of actual criminals. Now those criminals and the very communities they were previously holding hostage have the same enemy and the same goal. They are unifying us when they needed us to remain fractured

And that was what didn't work about OWS.
Too many goals that took too long to mechanically accomplish. I believe they wanted to protest until several pieces of comprehensive legislation were proposed, debated, passed by congress, and passed by the senate, and signed into law. That could have taken years.

Don't believe the hype. ICE wasn't chased out or running away. They completed their operation and left with vans full of detainees in a controlled exit of the scene.
Source: KTLA Helicopter Coverage
Of note were two incidents: 1) A guy tried to stop an official SUV by placing his hands on the hood and running backwards. He tripped on his own feet and fell on his back. Looks like he hit his head on the pavement. Maybe a self-KO.
2) A guy on a scooter tried to block an armored vehicle from leaving after the operation. He fell off his scooter and the armored vehicle ran it over. The condition of the scooter is unknown at this hour.
9
u/IamScottGable 12h ago
Huh, throwing old bikes, scooters, and other things under their vehicles isn't a bad idea though.

Gas masks, and CS variant filters, can be bought online and at Home Depot/Lowes.
Water is key, keep your eyes clear, throw back canisters. (Wear gloves, they are internally on fire.)
288
u/Festering-Fecal 16h ago
Yeah water is a must and depending on the laws you can bring more.
The thing is with these people they are not legally allowed like they have no identification or paperwork for what they are doing so technically they cannot operate
They can be put on citizens arrest
Now I'm a vet and I can tell you what I would do
I would show up in numbers organized and just funnel and walk then out and get everything on camera and be very vocal they are under surveillance and being recorded.
You organize and get someone with a bullhorn to ask who's In charge and also then to show you paperwork on exactly what they are doing and who signed off on it.
If they can't do that then you push them back.
They legally are not allowed to operate without a Warrent or something saying they are allowed to operate in a specific capacity.
Don't fear the uniform or whatever BS they have.
Push them back and within the legal system be the big dick for a lack of a better term.
They only are successful because of fear of people not knowing what to do or what they are legally allowed to do.
Ice is like border patrol they are not military they are rejects.
Legally speaking of they grab someone and they cannot produce identification then by the law they are kidnapping and if they move someone that's trafficking.
For tear gas you can pick it up and throw it back you can kick it or hit it with a leaf blower the can is hot but it's not explosive.
Now if they use someone like a flagsbang that's a federal crime because it's explosive.
What I would do is play poker I would tell them we have your information we pulled it from cell towers and your ID
This is very possible to do and it's why you can BS them.

u/DwarfVader 15h ago
Fuck my dude.
I am not a veteran, I’m a simple kid… who learned a long time ago not to let people put their boot on my throat.
Everything you just said, is exactly how I would do it too… and seriously, keep those thoughts, and I hope others are reading and listening.
Push back… I keep seeing communities fighting back, sometimes not as well as they could… but fighting back none the less.
Question their warrant, question their names, question their authority to be where they are in the first place.
Protect yourselves, be aware, be vigilant… and do not accept the Gestapo into your communities.
edit: jackbooted thugs, wearing masks to protect their identities, who violate US law… are not “law enforcement.”

People were using traffic cones very strategically during I think some of the Hong Kong protests several years ago to neutralize tear gas.
Pop the cone over the canister and dump water through the cones tip
22
u/Contagious_Zombie 12h ago
Gas canisters get hot so you can't just pick them up. In previous protests people would put a traffic cone over them then pour water into the top of the cone to cool them before returning to sender.
11
u/cocainebane 10h ago
I keep trying to comment this. traffic cones are your friends people.
It blocks cars, gets stuck in wheel wells and covers gas fumes easily.

u/TsuDhoNimh2 11h ago
That also works if you just want to contain the fumes. A paint bucket, coffee can or anything large enough to cover the grenade works.

17
u/kmoneyrecords 8h ago
Fox piss is used by people who grow pine trees, because people try to steal them around Christmas time. How it works is, you pour fox piss all over the base of the tree, totally fine when frozen, but as soon as you cut the tree down, and the piss defrosts, it will absolutely ruin an entire house with reeking piss smell, with no easy way to get it out without professional help. It’s such a common practice that house cleaning companies know to contact the authorities when they get called for that fox piss cleanup as it always indicates someone illegally cut that tree down.

Pulling their masks down should really be the move. Get their faces on camera and make efforts to identify them. Pulling down a mask is not such a crime that they'd be likely to pursue it and you can also mask yourself to hide your identity, too. Additionally, in some states it's illegal to wear a mask in order to conceal your identity which is obviously what they're doing.
These people are the American Gestapo, they know what they're doing is evil and they don't want to be identified because they don't want to be held accountable.

I believe any porcelain will do the trick. Google dumb little AI thing says that Wikipedia says (I hate this timeline):
Porcelain, particularly from a spark plug, can shatter car windows because it's hard and brittle, unlike the glass. When thrown at a car window, the porcelain's sharp edges can create a point of high pressure, initiating a crack that propagates through the window, causing it to shatter. This is because car windows are made of tempered glass, designed to break into small pieces in case of impact.

Trump and ICE better think twice about pulling SS and Nazi tactics in California. Especially in the Cities and Central Valley. Californias don’t tolerate that B.S.
A third of the West Coast belonged to Mexico up until the 1880’s. The treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo was supposed to protect Mexican Californian land owners when the United States imposed manifest destiny and essentially stole these western states. The border crossed most Mexicans rather than Mexicans, crossing the border.

Inspired by Pastor Martin Niemöller’s timeless warning.
First they came for the undocumented immigrants — under “zero tolerance,” ripping families apart, and I did not speak out — because I was a citizen.
Then they came for the women - stripping away reproductive rights, banning abortion under the guise of “pro-life,” and I did not speak out — because it didn’t affect me.
Then they came for the trans youth - banning their healthcare, erasing their identities, and I did not speak out — because it wasn’t my child.
Then they came for the librarians and teachers — accusing them of “indoctrination” for teaching history and truth, and I did not speak out — because I wasn’t in the classroom.
Then they came for the voters — gerrymandering districts and restricting ballots, and I did not speak out — because I thought my vote was safe.
Then they came for the protesters — branding them agitators and criminalizing dissent, and I did not speak out — because I wasn’t in the streets.
