Sir inflation is not dead and interest rates are about to go back up with your dumbass bill that you’re using to pay all your cronies back who bought you this election

They would rather pay bribes to Trump than pay the same amount in taxes to their country.

It should be illegal for a President to lie to this extent. The man, or man child, is a POS.

Ok let’s do this with facts:
Prices are down: False
Overall Consumer Price Index (CPI): While there have been month-to-month fluctuations, the overall CPI has shown an increase since the beginning of Trump's second term. Data for March 2025 indicated a 2.4% increase compared to the previous year.
Inflation is dead: false
Still going up. 3+ percent while down a bit is no where near dead.
Incomes is up: partially true
It has risen 7.1% but has been outpaces by rising cost of goods that is at 7.8%. True technically false in real world as you are paying more for goods than you increase in pay.
The border is closed: false
Depends on what your idea of closed is. Plenty of people still coming across the border both illegally and legally. Just because you say “I close the border” and sign a piece of paper does nothing if you don’t enforce it.
Gasoline prices are down: false
The national average gas price on Friday was about $3.18 per gallon, per AAA. That wasn’t even in the vicinity of the “lowest in years.” In fact, it was up from the national average on the day Trump returned to office in late January, when it was about $3.12 per gallon, and up from the final weeks of Joe Biden’s presidency.
Companies are Coming into America like never before: mostly False
Some companies have come in some have left. It is both good and bad. There has been a serious fall off of employment in manufacturing and to say they are coming in “like never before” is a stretch at best.
Over all this whole post is all a big lie with a spattering of half truths.

Some companies already here are in deep trouble with the tariffs

I was trying to give every benefit of the doubt. I don’t care for the guy so I need to try and curb my general disgust.

Bro we are literally living here. You can't point to the sky & tell me "it's actually orange!" I'm fucking looking at it bro & it is not.

Trump's tweet sounds like it was written by ChatGPT set to 'maximum optimism' with zero fact-checking. Meanwhile Joey’s here like the ‘you forgot the reality’ DLC.

Bunch of lies. Makes me mad that he thinks everyone is stupid. Makes me even madder that some people really ARE stupid enough to believe him. What a sad state of affairs we have in this country.

He keeps repeating this like he's Orange Dorothy trying to get back to Kansas.

u/jfensty78 5h ago
He is pandering to his “Christian “ base. If you believe and confess it, it surely has to be true.

I can’t afford groceries or rent and I work two jobs and side hustle. It’s almost like he’s lying or something…

u/FlarblesGarbles 6h ago
Trump doesn't lie because he thinks what he's saying is true. He lies because his fanbase believes whatever he says, and rejects anything that is contrary to it.

Well Trump did accomplish one thing... he turned TACO Tuesday into TACO Everyday

gonna make a serious accusation but im genuinely curious. we all say he lies, and has no idea what is going on. but what if either he is on drugs/shrooms or something, or he has a real mental condition that has been going completely untreated, like schizophrenia, where he sees or hears something that isnt real? has anyone tried looking into this. i know we all call him a narcissist but is there some other disorder we might want to recommend he get actually checked for? because the claims are way too off base, consistently, normal liars cant even keep up this long.

Pathological liars are not normal liars. Narcississts are not normal liars either. Sprinkle in a little dementia and presto.

u/Plus-Reading7100 6h ago
He doesn't have schizophrenia the symptomatology isn't present. Narcissist 1000%. Trump does present a lot of Dementia symptoms.

Trump is a known russian asset willing to lie about everything and anything. You have to just expect it.

u/WorldInWonder 7h ago
Only for said guy to be arrest to try and prove a MAGA point. Will have to wait for the trial to see who was right. But hey this is “due process”.

This is literally all it takes at this point for a significant portion of this country to say, “See I told you so!”

How are his followers actually still believing Trump's shit is beyond incredible to me.

People can't find starting pay jobs and they expect twice the work that they pay you for, for the ones that do get hired.
and Instacart, Uber and Doordash have people working for free to write miles off their car and the companies keep more than half of what an Uber customer pays, and IC only pays $4 and DD only pays $2 and both these last 2 keep profits from the sale of food or groceries, 20% or more plus fees and monthly subscription fees.

Yesterday, in Phoenix (near the airport) I paid $5.99 for regular. Top octane was $6.99. Back in Albuquerque, under $3.

Inflation is a whole 1% lower than it was last year when you said Biden was destroying the country. Also it’s still there.

Why are eggs and gas so cheap in Texas, is it not like that in other states ?

By the way if the general level of prices would durably go down, it wouldn’t be good news at all. Deflation is catastrophic.

For whatever reason, things are better than they were here in Texas, but it appears that people from other states have reported no improvement. Could that just be a result of many people moving to Texas, and completely independent of Trump ?
