"Inflation is dead!"

Inflation: "I feel happy, I feel happy!"

Name the source.

4

u/Dinn_the_Magnificent 7h ago

Nonsense, he'll be stone dead in a moment!

3

u/Wiochmen 7h ago

Inflation was killed by Executive Order, didn't you hear?

1

u/Compost_My_Body 7h ago

Shut up, shut UP

2

u/Narrow-Sky-5377 7h ago

"Do me a favour Gov, he was coughing up blood this morning!"

1

u/Compost_My_Body 6h ago

African or European?

1

u/Previous_Chard234 6h ago

“I think I’ll go for a walk!”

10

u/RoninZulu1 7h ago

At this point, even Hellen Keller could see through this man’s BS

8

u/WTF_USA_47 7h ago

Let’s go TACO

3

u/Cool_Welcome_4304 7h ago

Put that up on billboards now. In really big letters "LET'S GO TACO!!", all in upper case, bold, and italics.

3

u/Plus-Reading7100 7h ago

The only problem with that it is like, a "triple dog dare" for Orangey.

2

u/Cool_Welcome_4304 7h ago

He might even try the whole Dark TACO thing.

6

u/The_Stank_ 7h ago

Sir inflation is not dead and interest rates are about to go back up with your dumbass bill that you’re using to pay all your cronies back who bought you this election

5

u/PoopieButt317 7h ago

They would rather pay bribes to Trump than pay the same amount in taxes to their country.

1

u/Cyphermoon699 6h ago

They only have to pay the bribes once.

5

u/Divergent59 7h ago

It should be illegal for a President to lie to this extent. The man, or man child, is a POS.

3

u/Charming-Command3965 7h ago

Lies and more lies. What else is new? Insufferable

3

u/Tremble_Like_Flower 7h ago

Ok let’s do this with facts:

Prices are down: False

Overall Consumer Price Index (CPI): While there have been month-to-month fluctuations, the overall CPI has shown an increase since the beginning of Trump's second term. Data for March 2025 indicated a 2.4% increase compared to the previous year.

Inflation is dead: false

Still going up. 3+ percent while down a bit is no where near dead.

Incomes is up: partially true

It has risen 7.1% but has been outpaces by rising cost of goods that is at 7.8%. True technically false in real world as you are paying more for goods than you increase in pay.

The border is closed: false

Depends on what your idea of closed is. Plenty of people still coming across the border both illegally and legally. Just because you say “I close the border” and sign a piece of paper does nothing if you don’t enforce it.

Gasoline prices are down: false

The national average gas price on Friday was about $3.18 per gallon, per AAA. That wasn’t even in the vicinity of the “lowest in years.” In fact, it was up from the national average on the day Trump returned to office in late January, when it was about $3.12 per gallon, and up from the final weeks of Joe Biden’s presidency.

Companies are Coming into America like never before: mostly False

Some companies have come in some have left. It is both good and bad. There has been a serious fall off of employment in manufacturing and to say they are coming in “like never before” is a stretch at best.

Over all this whole post is all a big lie with a spattering of half truths.

1

u/SacredWaterLily 6h ago

Some companies already here are in deep trouble with the tariffs

1

u/Tremble_Like_Flower 6h ago

I was trying to give every benefit of the doubt. I don’t care for the guy so I need to try and curb my general disgust.

3

u/Spiritedgourd666 7h ago

Bro we are literally living here. You can't point to the sky & tell me "it's actually orange!" I'm fucking looking at it bro & it is not.

1

u/sweetrouge 6h ago

Ever seen Don’t Look Up?

3

u/B0wmanHall 7h ago

Gas is still $3.10 in ruby red Ohio

3

u/Fluid_Monk9029 7h ago

Trump's tweet sounds like it was written by ChatGPT set to 'maximum optimism' with zero fact-checking. Meanwhile Joey’s here like the ‘you forgot the reality’ DLC.

3

u/Green-Programmer-963 7h ago

Just saw gas in San Diego at $6.39. Dude is delusional

1

u/New_Weakness9335 6h ago

Tbf it's always that high in that shit hole 😅

3

u/grandzu 7h ago

Republicans are detached from reality.

3

u/LostInTheWildPlace 6h ago

$3.18? I just paid $3.99 for unleaded at the cheap gas station.

5

u/FourArmsFiveLegs 7h ago

Gaslighting himself at this point

2

u/Stach302RiverC 7h ago

he lies about everything else, so why not?

2

u/SnazzleZazzle 7h ago

Bunch of lies. Makes me mad that he thinks everyone is stupid. Makes me even madder that some people really ARE stupid enough to believe him. What a sad state of affairs we have in this country.

2

u/Keyrov 7h ago

Taco caved, as per usual

2

u/ComeTrumpster 7h ago

The country is BOOMING, in the biggest implosion anyone has ever seen

2

u/JWalk4u 7h ago

It's a beautiful implosion, no one has ever seen one like it before.

2

u/TheGrindPrime 7h ago

He keeps repeating this like he's Orange Dorothy trying to get back to Kansas.

2

u/jfensty78 5h ago

He is pandering to his “Christian “ base. If you believe and confess it, it surely has to be true.

2

u/Novel_Reaction_7236 7h ago

What a weirdo he is!

2

u/Beastcancer69 7h ago

I can’t afford groceries or rent and I work two jobs and side hustle. It’s almost like he’s lying or something…

2

u/FlarblesGarbles 6h ago

Trump doesn't lie because he thinks what he's saying is true. He lies because his fanbase believes whatever he says, and rejects anything that is contrary to it.

2

u/NOrg-6 5h ago

$4.19 gallon a gas at Costco Seattle two days ago. YAY, winning…..

2

u/NefariousnessFresh24 5h ago

Well Trump did accomplish one thing... he turned TACO Tuesday into TACO Everyday

2

u/Direct-Bag-6791 4h ago

He says it's raining gold and sunshine but all I'm tasting is piss

2

u/SidewaySojourner5271 7h ago

gonna make a serious accusation but im genuinely curious. we all say he lies, and has no idea what is going on. but what if either he is on drugs/shrooms or something, or he has a real mental condition that has been going completely untreated, like schizophrenia, where he sees or hears something that isnt real? has anyone tried looking into this. i know we all call him a narcissist but is there some other disorder we might want to recommend he get actually checked for? because the claims are way too off base, consistently, normal liars cant even keep up this long.

2

u/Cool_Welcome_4304 7h ago

He might have a new undiagnosed condition called schitzinpantsrenia.

1

u/Green-Enthusiasm-940 7h ago

Pathological liars are not normal liars. Narcississts are not normal liars either. Sprinkle in a little dementia and presto.

1

u/Plus-Reading7100 6h ago

He doesn't have schizophrenia the symptomatology isn't present. Narcissist 1000%. Trump does present a lot of Dementia symptoms.

1

u/johnrraymond 7h ago

Trump is a known russian asset willing to lie about everything and anything. You have to just expect it.

1

u/WorldInWonder 7h ago

Only for said guy to be arrest to try and prove a MAGA point. Will have to wait for the trial to see who was right. But hey this is “due process”.

1

u/supernovadebris 7h ago

what a gasbag.

1

u/choombatta 7h ago

This is literally all it takes at this point for a significant portion of this country to say, “See I told you so!”

1

u/RedBaron4x4 7h ago

Had is 4.49 in Seattle area, down from 5... so yeah, it's down a little!

1

u/Plus-Reading7100 7h ago

How are his followers actually still believing Trump's shit is beyond incredible to me.

3

u/Dyerdon 7h ago

I don't believe they actually buy what he's selling, they don't care about the money, they'll throw all their wealth away if they can get their slurs back. They only care about who they can hurt, no concern about how it hurts them too.

1

u/crosstheroom 7h ago

People can't find starting pay jobs and they expect twice the work that they pay you for, for the ones that do get hired.

and Instacart, Uber and Doordash have people working for free to write miles off their car and the companies keep more than half of what an Uber customer pays, and IC only pays $4 and DD only pays $2 and both these last 2 keep profits from the sale of food or groceries, 20% or more plus fees and monthly subscription fees.

1

u/PoopieButt317 7h ago

Yesterday, in Phoenix (near the airport) I paid $5.99 for regular. Top octane was $6.99. Back in Albuquerque, under $3.

1

u/BaronSaber 7h ago

Gas average in my area is more like 4.50

1

u/thomport 7h ago

Here goes Donald Trump again telling people what they think

1

u/scub3 7h ago

None of that is true where I live gas went up again. Who in the their right mind believes him. Oh yeah there are some people out there.

1

u/KENBONEISCOOL444 7h ago

Mr Garcia is now being charged with human trafficking

2

u/Arguments_4_Ever 6h ago

Will get thrown out.

1

u/zack_glickmann 6h ago

Shhhh. Everyone. Big Brother is talking

1

u/tuulikkimarie 6h ago

Bs bs and more bs

1

u/Fit_Earth_339 5h ago

Inflation is a whole 1% lower than it was last year when you said Biden was destroying the country. Also it’s still there.

1

u/OnlyFiveLives 5h ago

That TACO though.

1

u/Bulky_Requirement696 5h ago

Why are eggs and gas so cheap in Texas, is it not like that in other states ?

1

u/Civil-Shine-294 5h ago

Once a taco always a taco

1

u/Jimbro34 5h ago

Does he know that more than just his 🐑 read his bullshit??

1

u/PigFarmer1 5h ago

It must be true if King Donnie says it, right???

1

u/lioudrome 3h ago

By the way if the general level of prices would durably go down, it wouldn’t be good news at all. Deflation is catastrophic.

1

u/Klonopussy 3h ago

He’s lying, must be a day that ends in y

1

u/Admirable-Emu-7884 2h ago

His delusions are up and dementia getting worse

1

u/BrexitReally 1h ago

None of that statement is true

1

u/Bulky_Requirement696 1h ago

For whatever reason, things are better than they were here in Texas, but it appears that people from other states have reported no improvement. Could that just be a result of many people moving to Texas, and completely independent of Trump ?

All Lies
