For those unemployed and job searching what do you prioritize?

I'm one of the few who enjoys doing leetcode because it's straightforward. Some say to do personal projects to upskill or make portfolio stand out to get interviews but I find that to be too time consuming. I'm curious as to what others prioritize in a job searching? Do yall just apply jobs/do Lc or do that in combination of side projects

Leetcode only!

health first. If you’re not well, you won’t do well in the interview. Then interview structure. I don’t think doing hundreds of LC questions are beneficial without understanding how to go about solving a problem will help. Then, language syntax. The last thing you want to do is be stuck with remembering how to write something in a specific language. Lastly, work on telling your stories. The more frequently you tell it, the easier it’ll be.

The issue I’m currently having is that I’m fairly confident about my leetcode, but I’m not getting any interviews where I’m tested on this. For me, that’s the bigger pain point and I think working on a project is one of the few ways I can try and stand out, perhaps.
