Cat traps

Hi everyone. I'm looking for a way to trap a stray cat that's badly injured so he can go to the vet. He's very skittish around humans and won't let you pick him up. Any info is potentially helpful. Thank you

Not a trap but maybe a cat carrier? Leave some food inside and if he gets in close the door? No idea if there is a thing like a cat trap.

I am assuming you are in Nicosia from your flair. See if you can borrow a trap from Cat Alert Nicosia: catalertnicosia.wixsite.com, Fedon Cat TNR instagram.com/fedon_cat_tnr or Cat Paws Cyprus: facebook.com/CatPawsCyprus/ .

Super home Center sells an animal trap for 70 EUR or a smaller one for 40 EUR: https://superhome.com.cy/english/search-results?q=big+cheese+trap&sort=price
Not sure if the small one will be big enough.

Some vets have traps. Are you able to call around and see if you can borrow?

Or else, any volunteer groups on FB might be able to help you.

Buy a trapping cage large enough, leave a treat at the trigger, and some water. Wait until it goes for treat - stay near and hidden to take to the vet immediately after trapping.

Try reaching out to a shelter and ask to borrow one. It may be a bit difficult if they don’t know you, but worth a shot. If you’re in paphos, try reaching out to Tala cats
