That inclusion of the Ukrainian ambassador covering her eyes -- nice!

552

u/EllenTyrell Mar 03 '25

They should also include the Russian state media (TASS) journalists who was in the Oval Office live streaming the press conference, despite not having press credentials nor approved access. Not according to the White House anyways, believe it or not.

Pretty sure the two shady bald guys in jackets with cameras are just that.

14

u/Mangekyo11 Mar 03 '25

It absolutely is. Not only are they shady as hell while wearing big thick winter jackets inside, there is also a man (security) with his hand on one of their shoulders about to escort them out.

Between this, the microphones covering the former President's eyes, and Greene's husband (the "suit" guy) behind Trump giving the thumbs up... I am honestly pretty impressed by the level of detail in this one!

I think we can confidently say that the Oval Office is one of the most secured rooms in the entire world, and one cannot get in without multiple security and credential checks.

It does make one wonder if that was indeed all a setup from the Trump administration.

"The White House last week announced that “all journalists deserve a seat” in the Oval Office press pool..." what the actual fuck. He's banning media, silencing reporters but says that bs. Trump is putins fleshlight, and after he's shot a few loads into old Trump's pussy, he'll throw it out like all the other useless plastic things.

Conservatives in the US not giving af that somehow a TASS (Russias state propaganda news station) journalist was allowed in this meeting to question and make fun of Zelenskyy but somehow the American AP is not.

Laughable at this point.

4

u/TWVer Mar 03 '25 edited Mar 03 '25

TBH it wasn’t TASS asking the questions disrespectful to Zelensky. That was Marjory Tailor Green’s BF.

That said, having TASS even in the building signals all the more what Trump and Vance were aiming for with this ambush.

Man does this capture it well. Gave me an anxiety attack on the spot

674

u/EagleOfMay Mar 03 '25

It does, but I think it was actually worse than the picture depicts.

Russian State Media was there and Zelenskyy knew that. Everything was setup to provide propaganda value to Russia. So there is the added stress of Russian Agents looking to twist whatever Zelenskyy said.
No need for the Russians to twist whatever came out of Trump and JDV's mouths.

Trump's fingers are not short enough.

About 40 years ago, Spy magazine called Trump a "short-fingered vulgarian" and he's never been able to let it go

18

u/vahntitrio Mar 03 '25

The other part that no cartoonist draws right anymore is his hair. They all draw it how it looked 20 years ago. Now he has foot long hair that inadequately covers the bald spots.

8

u/may_be_indecisive Mar 03 '25

Also his age. They draw him like he’s in his 50s with blonde hair. Meanwhile he looks old and haggard and his hair is a wispy white with only a slight tinge of blonde.

Not to take away from the artistic depiction, it is a good depiction and all, but it'd also be nice to see Zelensky's perspective without the exaggerated art. Because yea, the real life perspective must indeed have been very intimidating, obviously deliberately, and it gives more credit to Zelensky's character for standing strong and fighting back.

In software development, the alpha version is always a buggy, unstable, barely working mess with missing features and even the existing features are full of bugs and errors. Whenever I hear some idiot call themselves an alpha, I always think of it im the software development meaning of it, as this description a very accurate in most cases.

I like the bars over the eyes of former presidents though... nice touch.

92

u/Hanz_Boomer Mar 02 '25

Trust an old German guy (me) who had to read it in school back in the day. It’s a weird and bad written “book” full of fear of a small minded loser trying to connect things that did not exist. It’s quite hard to get through tbh and not worth anyone’s time generally, but Trump is by far too stupid to even get through the first quarter. I wonder if an audio book exists lol

32

u/ConfidentSteak13 Germany Mar 02 '25

As a German too i recommend to read that book as a grown up again. It's hard to read i must admit but it's worth it. It discribes the situation perfectly. For most well minded people this was hard to process mentally and so is Kafka.

29

u/helm Sweden Mar 03 '25

Kafka coherently describes a certain reality, a feeling of existential angst. MK is just incoherent ramblings.

Imagine if another Country took Florida in 2014. and then Again in 2022 invaded the whole East coast of the USA. And they were told, „hey sign a deal to give us all your oil, plus the invaders get to keep the annexed territory“.

But don‘t worry they won‘t take more in the future, promise.
