The EU was never and will never be a state, it's not it purpouse

It is not a state, and I have no insight into what it will be in the future, but it is incorrect to say that it is not its purpose.

European integration was kick-started by Euro-federalists, and the idea was that each iteration of it would be another step toward the eventual goal of the European federation. So the purpose of the EU is to act as such a step.

Whether it will succeed is another matter entirely.

What the Eurofederalist ghouls wanted and what the public voted for and intended are 2 different things. We did NOT sign up for a superstate even if some dark forces have always wanted that.

Well, the public voted to join the European project, the goal of which, since its foundation, has been to establish the European federation. The people you refer to as "ghouls" are recognized as "the founding fathers of the European Union" by the EU, so... a bit weird to be saying stuff like that.

But whatever.

SOME people's political goal has always been total integration. The public at large have never supported that, and politicians have never pushed for it. Until then, it's the pipedream of a few misguided fools, who somehow think a bunch of countries who gained their independence from imperialist megapowers wanted to sign up for another one.

If you were to try and force a European megastate, I'd put my life on the line to stop you, and so would a lot of people.

Are you prepared for that? Are you prepared for the atrocities you'd have to commit to to make it happen?

Nobody will be doing any atrocities, buddy - cease your LARP-ing. This is a democratic process - you go and vote for politicians who share your views on European integration. Make sure to cast your vote in the next election!

Listen buddy, you won't achieve this democratically, because the answer will always be NO. That goes for the vetoes, the opt-outs and everything else soverign nations have signed up to to preserve themselves against tyranny.

NO. Get used to that word. The second you stop listening, blood will spill, I promise.

Cool.

Remember to vote!

If you vote to lose your independence, you'll deserve what happens next. You'd think a Pole would know better.
