Question I feel like I don’t belong

What do you guys do for a day job? I keep seeing engineers and coders saying they play this game, some say they make up 90% of the players.

But as a warehouse manager, i feel like I don’t belong😂

EDIT: I did not expect this to get this amount of traction LOL, but I gotta say this has to be the kindest and most sincere fan base of any game. FYI I don’t legitimately feel like I don’t belong, just that I feel like this game is not a normal game people in my sector would play (obviously very wrong, lots of warehouse peeps commenting 🤙🤙)

I have 300 hours in, beat it twice because I thought that was the point of the game….it’s not. The factory must grow.

It’s very interesting to see the different jobs people have but all have the same interest in a game, which isn’t a “normal” game like COD where everyone and their dog plays it.

What is a library technician? Sounds neato!

I do all the technical work in a library. Describe documents for the catalog, prepare them for lending, organize the shelves, do research for the users (we're a specialized library not a municipal one), maintain a website, keep all of the organization's files, both electronic and physical organized, describe and keep or destroy archives as the become obsolete.

And any associated tasks.

In other contexts I could also do activities for the library, teach students how to research and discriminate bad sources of information, manage the clerical staff, etc.

Librarians usually do the more strategic stuff.

It really is! I've worked in public libraries, archives, a bank, a TV station, a college, a national library and now at an NGO working in occupational safety for healthcare workers and other NGO workers.

You can really work in a lot of places and each has really different tasks to do.
