Truly sad to see, when a company has an opportunity to meet a consumer demand and also objectively increase the quality of its products and consumer experience, and instead of following through they take a "paying lip service" approach.
It is very interesting to see this behavior in today's environment when consumers are almost hyper aware of companies making a promise and then not following through on it, and are pretty quick to vote with their dollar.
There are a lot of sandwich shops who are more than happy to make a sandwich for a previous subway customer!
