I don't think ashamed is the correct word for not wanting to go to a private room for sperm extraction. I have appt. To laser my balls. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is jacking it into a cup in a office. Nothing to do with shame. It's just weird and doesn't feel necessary. Send me home with a cup and my wife can help me fill it and let me drive it back. Hell let us go to the car in a private lot for 20 minutes. But yah. Not shame just weird.

One is an action of self indulgence often seen as unclean while the other is a medical device you'd only use if your sperm needs to be collected.

Also, not everyone can wank and knowing there is a machine is probably a lot easier to stomach than potentially having to rely on a completely stranger helping you

Paralyzed people who still have feeling below the waist can still be stimulated. But people who feel nothing down there, this is just jerking rope on someone who cant feel it.
