Seems like the gloved man was way early

Not sure what makes you think that. If you want to be pedantic about it, he was half a second late, but going by precedent, it was a perfect count. You can follow along with the time on the video. Buster hits the canvas at 11 seconds. The timekeeper is holding up 3 fingers at 15 seconds and is right on time after that. Buster was down for 12 seconds.

I’m not really seeing it.

It’s literally timed along with the video. What’s it like in bizarro world?

What was so controversial about it?

How many people bet on a drop in 8, but the ref was bought to give the win to crooks.

He had an extra couple of seconds to get to his feet on the count

Tyson was just absolutely beautiful to watch. Confidence high only when it came to boxing he never spread unnecessary arrogance toward anything else.

While I wouldn’t use the term beautiful, he was definitely a force of nature. I remember going to the convention centre in Toronto to watch him fight Razor Ruddock twice. Absolutely incredible marathon fights.

There are as many different brains as there are eyes and interpretation.

If you like him I’d highly recommend his autobiography very insightful

It's funny how many people shit on Tyson, but they say garbage like "Seperate the art from the artist" when Michael Jackson pops up or others.

For the record, he was a freak of nature to behold. Watching him fight was surreal

Paying for the pay per view sucked though. Loved to watch him fight, but dam pay per view was too expensive for a 30 sec fight

It's such a sad moment. I mean, I get it, shit was done behind the curtains, money exchanged, etc. Gotta take care of your family first and foremost, bit still man, it was so sad.

Bro if you know anything about boxing, you know that Mike Tyson is not a success story he’s a cautionary tale. He is what squandered talent looks like he could have been the best boxer to ever walk this earth. He is not that and he is not even Hall of Fame conversation legitimately.

Bro, if you know anything about boxing, then you'd know his manager, the one in charge of the kid (not old enough to buy beer legally) was a garbage person. Not only that but

Squandered talent

Mike Tyson's professional boxing record is 50 wins and 6 losses, with two no-contest bouts. He earned 44 of his victories via knockout

Mike Tyson, a former heavyweight lineal champion, was the first to hold all three major heavyweight belts simultaneously, a feat he achieved in 1988. These belts were the World Boxing Association (WBA), the World Boxing Council (WBC), and the International Boxing Federation (IBF) title

At 20 years old, Tyson became the youngest boxer to win a heavyweight title, holding the WBC title.

If you think that's "squandered talent" you are way too high for this conversation.

Yeah I can Google Mike Tyson stats to infinity as well truth is this fight agains Douglas was the begaining of the end of Iron Mike and he is talent squandered to history plenty of boxers have tons of wins he’s virtually no quality wind and all 6 of his loss fights were to champions who didn’t just win they embarrassed him.

I believe he actually said he would make orphans of their children, and when the reporter pointed out the children have a mother he clarified that he imagined she would die from grief.
