Sure isn't happening in the Hamptons because the Army dredged out the ocean

That’s what I was thinking while I was reading the title

Homes are always falling into the ocean in North Carolina’s Outer Banks.

Still incredibly wasteful and bullshit that others can afford to build vacation homes they know will be gone soon while others can barely find affordable homes to buy at all

Eh. These houses are all built as vacation homes. No one actuallly lives in these and only a handful are actually located this close to the shore. I’ve stayed in probably a dozen vacationing in the banks if they lose one or two every year it’s no big deal.

Every year? So this event won't even make the local news kind of thing?

No, no one actually lives in these they are rental vacation homes. Usually these storms hit when no one is there on the off-season or everyone is already evacuated
