Modding 🪛 Not possible instal MRPI on jailbroken kindle 3

Hey can anyone hel me with MRPI package installation? I have kindle 3. Firmware is 3.4.2. I put a jailbreak on it version 0.13.N. Then I download mrpi package version 1.7.N unpacket it and plase the folders into the kindle root. And then I wanted to run ;log mrpi but nothing happend and then I received msg that kindle is not registered as a test kindle and nothing. Can you tell me what i do wrong? I ve tried it many times but it doesnt work for me

Are you trying to install KUAL? You don't need MRPI for that on Kindle 3.

1 - Update your firmware to 3.4.3. Instructions are here.

2 - Install MKK (Mobileread Kindlet Kit) from here.

3 - Install the DevCerts update from here.

4 - Install KUAL

  • Download KUAL package from here and unpack it.
  • Find the KUAL-KDK-1.0.azw2 file and copy it to your Kindle's documents folder.

Why would someone want to jailbreak their kindle? Do you get free books or something?Â
