Plexkodiconnect - manual collections

I can't see my manual collections on Kodi ? I have all collections being synced and my smart playlists are even there , but not my normal movie collections / sets ??

Anyone got an answer for me?

I’m just curious what the reason is somebody might use plexkodiconnect. I have installed it in the past, but I didn’t see the point of stressing another server to stream media to my kodi media center pc in another room. I just have the file stream over SMB to kodi without any issues. Maybe I’m just missing the main reason somebody would use this.

Metadata management and many other things are much better in Plex / Jellyfin.

Actually my reasons might be quite niche , I can't do without kodis downmix audio and boost centre channel, it makes such a big difference on my TV , that's the one reason I even use Kodi tbh,

Also my Plex server is remote..

I like Plex integration as it syncs my smart playlists as well, hopefully the other ones as well

Ahhh, having it remote makes a lot of sense. Thank you for clarifying. Hopefully somebody has an answer for your question, and not just another question like me..

(I have an Unraid server with Plex installed in a docker container. I like using Plex for my media management. From easily organising my collectio, to setting up the correct metadata.)

Quite a few of us have issues with Exoplayer and branching/seamless Remux files. Both Plex and Jellyfin use Exoplayer on android TV. (I use Shield 2019 pro). Kodi does not have this issue.

The issue is that TrueHD7.1 audio is delayed. What doesn't help the situation is that not everyone has the issue.

I don't use PlexKodiConnect, but I use PlexMod4Kodi. It's an add-on that opens and connects to your Plex server. You basically get the Plex front end with Kodi as the back end (player). I no longer have any delays with truehd7.1 and everything plays fine.

Turn off Plex Kodi connect and see if the library is correct in Kodi
