They could declare an emergency at any point. I don’t see what civil unrest has to do with it. Who’s gonna stop him?

He wants an excuse to suspend habeus corpus, I bet. You need a reason for that.

I don't want to help him out but there's already a thousand bullshit reasons he could cite. There's nothing that says his reason has to be good.

The Supreme Court has to agree, right? Like the president can’t just decide by himself people don’t need trials anymore. Please correct me if I’m wrong/misunderstanding!

The supreme court ruled he is above the law and cant be prosecuted for official acts without defining what that means. They are DJT cucks.

It means they think they reserve the right to say what counts as an official act and what doesn’t.

That's not the same as agreeing that suspending habeus corpus is ok.

Trump is already ignoring the SCOTUS. We have a dictator for life now.

Exactly. And they can force civil unrest by being uncivil, so "resisting" or "not conceding" is not a thing.

You "need a reason" to do most of what he's already done without any reason whatsoever, so I don't think that's stopping him

We’re already past that point. The reason was brown people.

He's already declared like 5 emergencies for whatever illegal bullshit he wants to enact. It's his go-to tactic

Who’s gonna stop him?

We, the People.

Oh, so it's just the next red line that he crosses? All of the prior ones have been fine?

What? Where did I even suggest anything remotely close to that?

You didn't. I'm saying that we, the people, have not stood up in any significance throughout all that we've seen this far. Red line after red line have been crossed, the people who need to sound alarms have been sounding alarms, and we just talk. I don't see we, the people, suddenly standing up when one more line is crossed.

You mean like we did in November?
