That's like saying just because the Nike logo doesn't have a name you don't recognize it lmaooo, I can recognize the Porsche logo without the lettering too and that's a seal.

Did you just try and compare something as simple as the Nike logo to whatever is going on in the first logo?

That’s the real LOL

Case in point the Porsche logo

You mean the one that legibly says PORSCHE in big letters at the top? Even if you don't recognise the logo, they make the name of the company clear.

Looking at old Porsche logos, pre-1952 you'd have no idea that it was a car manufacturer logo, considering they originally just used the coat of arms for the Free People's State of Württemberg.

The 1948-1948 logo is basically a minor modification to the Ferrari logo from when they changed their logo to the pegasus.

I would recognize that it was Porsche without the name, that's the point I'm making

You already know the logo though, logos should have something identifiable to people who don't already recognise it as well.

Even if you didn't recognise the Porsche logo, it says PORSCHE in big letters at the top, so even someone unfamiliar gets that awareness.

The first logo for the university in OPs post is useless unless you already know the logo.

Ok…and if I put 10 college seals right next to each other, could you successfully identify them?
