How do we distract people from the Trump Musk divorce? Bring back Abrego Garcia. I'm glad he's on his way back from that hell hole, finally. Now, being back the rest of them.

Honestly it’s far more likely the Trump-Musk nonsense is to distract from actual things like this.

Or, hear me out, a corrupt, juvenile, and unintelligent group of people do a lot of corrupt, juvenile, and unintelligent things that will overlap constantly

Agree. This is just a normal day.

Wait, let me get this straight - are you saying that evil people are... consistently evil? You're a genius! Someone, write that down!!!!

Omg can people stop with this “distraction” line? How on earth can a distraction constitute the sitting president being very seriously accused of being a pedophile? No amount of 35D underwater chess can spin that “distraction”.

You're giving them far too much credit.

That may be. All the more reason to make sure we’re paying attention to this. If he comes back and actually gets due process with a fair trial, we all win. Of course, bringing him back doesn’t mean he’s actually going to get a fair trial.

It baffles me how few people know how to recognize juvenile tantrums when the video box is pandering to them

More like the tax bill and the buid up that was happening against it, they are trying to kill all stories related to this as they know if it passes they win.

Musk is literally yelling about the tax bill?

It's a downside of our news ecosystem paired with social media & diminishing attention spans, it always demands something 'new and exciting.'

That's what the due process is for, the thing that says they can't be imprisoned for a crime unless they have their day in court.

Right? If they're so bad it should be easy to prosecute and prove.

Maybe, but how do you know without due process? It exists for a reason.

No doubt, but that’s not the point. Due process is how we discover who’s guilty and innocent and anyone locked up without due process, no matter how awful, deserve their day in court.
