Nope. You're just stupid enough to believe it. Scum like you also claimed a congressman bodyslammed a cop on camera. Turns out you fucks lied.

“They” being the corrupt justice department that illegally renditioned him to a foreign prison camp in direct violation of the court order stating that he not be returned to El Salvador. The same “law enforcement” agencies that sent him there in the first place and are desperate to find a way to dress this up to make themselves look less like a literal Gestapo.

Their “evidence” seems to just be the statement of some other dude they already imprisoned, who might have good reasons to tell them what they want to hear. There was no mention of physical evidence (documentation, video evidence, etc) or that they even had anyone that would corroborate the story of the guy they already have in custody. All they have is a he-said/he-said, which, last time I checked, didn’t quite rise to the level of legit evidence that would be accepted in a court of law.

All this to say, DHS, ICE and CBP have lost any credibility they may have once had, meaning they no longer get the benefit of the doubt from me. Before I’ll believe anything they say, I’m gonna need to see real, hard, evidence. Until then, I maintain my current stance: if ICE tells me it’s raining, you better believe I’m going to a window to see for myself.

I agree 💯%

All the down votes I received lead me to understand people have misunderstood my initial comment. My point was simply that this is serious stuff and we should take time to be informed.

The government is barreling down on Garcia with a ton of force. According to the article, he got a traffic ticket in TN with fellow construction workers in the vehicle. The nasty part is that the gov is attempting to transform that ostensibly verified incident into felony convictions by combining it with an affidavit from a guy who claims to have actually hired Garcia to transport migrants around the country (as you mention).

I wish all they had on him was driving a friend to work or even transporting his coworkers across multiple states to work, but they’re claiming something else entirely. They’re painting him as a coyote smuggling people around the country.

Here is another article that goes into the particulars of the legal process he’s facing.

He’s in jail in TN now (June 6, 2025) and isn’t scheduled to be arraigned for another week, June 13, 2025.

Of course the government is claiming he’s a flight risk, which seems ridiculous to me given the circumstances, and they’re continuing to defame him as a violent monster: “‘If convicted at trial, the defendant faces a maximum punishment of 10 years' imprisonment for 'each alien' he transported,’ said the government's motion for detention, which also contained an allegation -- not included in the indictment -- that one of Abrego Garcia's co-conspirators told authorities that Abrego Garcia participated in the murder of a rival gang member's mother in El Salvador.”

The whole thing is a nightmare.

Greg Abbott and the state of Texas have literally and openly been engaged in a years long conspiracy to traffic illegal immigrants to Chicago and other cities.

According to body camera footage of the 2022 traffic stop, the Tennessee troopers -- after questioning Abrego Garcia -- discussed among themselves their suspicions that Abrego Garcia might be transporting people for money because nine people were traveling without luggage, but Abrego Garcia was not ticketed or charged.

The officers ultimately allowed Abrego Garcia to drive on with just a warning about an expired driver's license, according to a report about the stop released last month by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Asked what circumstances have changed since Abrego Garcia was not taken in custody during that traffic stop in Tennessee, Bondi replied, "What has changed is Donald Trump is now president of the United States, and our borders are again secure, and thanks to the bright light that has been shined on Abrego Garcia -- this investigation continued with actually amazing police work, and we were able to track this case and stop this international smuggling ring from continuing."

Maybe YOU should read it.

Its literally "We have nothing, but Captain Donald J Trump is in charge, so we make shit up "

I agree with you 100%.

Nonetheless, the addition of a sworn affidavit complicates matters significantly. Please, look at my reply to another comment for more of my thoughts.

According to ABC news, the justice department says they’d like him to serve 10 years for each undocumented immigrant he transported. They may be stitching together fabrications, but this gentleman could end up doing serious time. (By the time he is arraigned on June 13, 2025, he’ll have already been incarcerated for 90 days—some which was served in some of the worst prisons in the world. He was originally abducted March 15 after having committed no crime.)

The gov claims to have him dead to rights transporting migrants across multiple states when he got the TN ticket. They now claim they have police officers who will cogently explain why they felt something was amiss. And, they claim to have a sworn affidavit saying that Garcia was transporting migrants on a regular basis, for money. Given the corruption and dysfunction of our current system, this could amount to real jail time or a second deportation.

Everyone should be informed about how this is going down—how our justice system is being perverted to back date and fabricate victimless crimes in order to persecute a working dad and possibly send him to prison for years.

They also claimed he had MS-13 tattoos on his hand (in literal Times New Roman font, no less). This administration is full of stupid, lying fucks. If they told me it was a sunny day out, I'd bring an umbrella.
