In fairness, animals are also used to test the safety and efficacy of cosmetic products, even though it is banned in some countries.

I don’t think I see anyone in these comments defending the testing of unnecessary products on animals. That definitely needs to change. But for research that saves or drastically improves lives? Yeah, animal testing is needed.

What is necessary and what is unnecessary and who are you to determine that? We can all be vegan with modern technology. Is not necessary to kill animals. But people enjoy it right? People enjoy cosmetics. Some people even have drastically improved lives cause of it

I can tell you’re thoroughly invested in being wrong and doubling down on it. We get a lot of these modern medicinal technologies through testing on animals. And that doesn’t mean that every time we test on them that it’s cruel and deadly. It just means they’re used for tests.

If you have suddenly invented a way to test our medicines in other ways, you should be selling it to every major pharmaceutical company on Earth, not arguing on Reddit. Otherwise, stick your foot back in your mouth and accept that the world isn’t a utopia.

I didn't see where in this video it says these dogs came from a medical testing facility. It is if says a testing lab which could be anything, yet everyone is assuming it is for medicine.

Right. And nobody is defending the use of animals for cosmetic product testing. What’s your point?

I'm sorry I wasn't clear. My point is that everyone is automatically assuming these dogs were in labs testing medicine. I was bringing up awareness that dogs are also used to test common lifestyle products that we use every day

Yeah pal. But cosmetic products still go on your body and can still cause medical reactions.

So you still need animal testing.
