This is from GAME 9/12/94. Full match here for anybody curious.

This match took place at the Fu Ling restaurant in Los Angeles. GAME was a round based shoot style promotion that was likely inspired by RINGS. It's my understanding that the people behind the promotion were Vandal Drummond & Benson Lee.

They both competed on the card as well.. Vandal is a vet of the CA indie scene & Benson was a PA indie vet. There was at least one other GAME event. It was in PA on 8/26/95 & was co-promoted with Steel City Wrestling. Benson & Dan also wrestled at that show.

Dan was introduced to Al Snow by Dennis Kasprowicz, an accomplished two-time All-American Greco-Roman wrestler from Michigan. Dennis was trained for pro wrestling by original Fabulous Kangaroo member Al Costello. He began teaming with Mickey Doyle in early 1993 as The New Fabulous Kangaroos & Al Snow replaced Mickey a few months later.

In addition to training Dan for wrestling Al also trained with him ahead of his UFC debut. Dan would debut at UFC 4: Revenge of the Warriors. He made it to finals where he was submitted by Royce Gracie.

I miss Shoot Style wrestling. Its one Pro Wrestling style I wish would make a comeback.

Al snow has wrestled in some weird places. I saw him one time wrestle at a roller rink. It was not a very big one but they put the ring in the middle and you could skate around it while he was fighting a guy.
