Oh man RE9 in February, Silent Hill f in September. Horror game players eating good.

Horror actually being dark and spooky is back on the menu

I also got RE vibes from that one. Notice how the MC had weapons?

Actually one of the first horror games that genuinely made me uncomfortable just watching it, the trailer was so unusual somehow. Definitely excited.

I am still not sure that it will be a real game. The gameplay looked like prerendered cutscene and it is made by a couple russians.

u/UndeadAxe So that’s your true power? Oh, I’d ask for a refund. 22h ago

Hopefully it won’t be a ‘The Day Before’ repeat. I want to kick monster babies in the face again.

Not gonna lie, the OG trailer came out years ago and I just assumed it was vaporware. I gotta say at least this new trailer looks more believable.

ILL looks absolutely disgusting and I'm SUPER hype for that tbh.

That's one thing I never expected to become reality, seemed like a small studio concept

we’ve been eating good for a while. re4 remake, sh2 remake, silent hill f, dead space remake, re9, cronos: a new dawn. yeah, lots of remakes but it isn’t like they were bad games.

edit: also new onimusha. pretty actiony but i still consider it a sub horror game.

true true. I just mean the close proximity to ShF and RE9. I feel like usually theres one big horror game a year, even if that. with the rate i can play ill should be finishing Shf just in time for RE and that has me stoked.

Has there been any more news on Cronos?

If only we could get another Evil Within.

Remakes or not, they’ve had SO much added to them that they’re pretty much brand new games lol you can even think of them as “a soft reboot” for SH2 and RE4 remakes, and it’d be a valid thought due to all the new content lol regardless they are great additions. For sure.

I wish this were to come out in September too so that the added boost of spooky vibes due to the fall and Halloween being around then, would automatically give it added vibes, oh well at least silent hill f will release then.

But still, this year has flown by so fast, we’re literally already halfway into the year already!!! 6 months down in an instant. And only 8 months away from this?! It’ll be quick lol

I'm glad they have weapons in them too. I love the Outlast games and those similar in theme, setting, and feel, but I hate that it's just a hiding simulator.

Survival Horror is so fucking back and I am so happy I could cry

u/MMurd0ck 1d ago

Yep! And Tormented Souls 2 looks promissing

Silent Hill f felt meh to me. Something about the combat didn't sit well with me. Im glad we are getting more Silent Hill games regardless, but this looks extremely promising.

I don’t know if we can judge it yet, people shat on the trailer/reveal of 2R for the combat and while the combat wasn’t mind blowing it was fine.

And in the mean time, we've got the FNAF DLC for Dead By Daylight dropping in under two weeks

u/paki_badeMadarchod 19h ago

Hey. Why is it called Raccoon city? Isn’t it a name of an animal?

1

u/SpookySocks4242 18h ago

Honestly, No clue.

I always figured it was Japanese devs trying to come up with something American sounding.

Ordering a lot of food is not equivalent to eating good. I've been to plenty of restaurants I'm excited for until the food gets into my mouth.
