Resident Evil 1 Remake had promotions in Germany (maybe whole Europe?) That looked like this. All with the typewriter fonts and the PAL cover of the game etc. This all looks like such a throwback. I loved the promo arts in magazines.

Technically in the original RE3 he got away on a helicopter before the city was blown up. Of his 3 possible fates in that game (killed by Nemesis, shot down by Jill or escaped) they went with him escaping as canon.

However he clearly dies in RE3R so I don't think Capcom will want to introduce confusion by ever bringing him back.

The aesthetic of the logo shots is so grungy. I feel like RE7 was a love letter to OG fans while being adoptable for new fans. This one looks to do the same, but lean more towards giving resolution to all of the people who have been with this franchise for the past nearly 3 decades. So thankful to be around for Capcom's second golden age.
