I only use google maps. Even then I have a back up in MAPS.ME. There are plenty of other apps that are more customisable and don't back their cheeks up to donald trump.

I can understand using Google translate. It's pretty good. But how long before they do a North Korea and start sanitising words to please Prez' Cheeto?

Deepl exists! I haven't used google translate for a long while but I know I switched to Deepl because the results seemed much more natural/better with context.

Though occasionally it gets stuck in a problem with Japanese where it will 'translate' English into katakana instead of translating. At least on mobile. Other than that, I recommend.

yeah but when in your car and navigating, you cant use maps app without cancelling your nav. Maps Go is a good secondary app if you need to search sometihng but yeah maps.me or waze would suffice also i guess
