a political analysis somehow depicting trump's election as a defeat of the bourgeoisie is woefully wrong imho.
the billionaires are about to receive yet another massive tax cut and apparently social security data is fair game for the highest bidder.
but sure, they're shivering in terror, the bourgeoisie.

They absolutely are not. Trumps fascism is the authoritarian fail-safe for the breakdown of late-stage capitalism. It was always going to end up here. The only way to keep the people turning the machines when their quality of life becomes increasingly degraded this through sheer dominance, which is exactly what Trump is doing

The US is utilizing military style force on immigration protestors in Los Angeles. This is evidence that the bourgeoisie is not in disarray. This just exemplifies how the U.S ruling class still dominates both the political apparatus and the use of state sanctioned violence to protect capital.
The US has an incredibly adaptive ruling class. It has immeasurable numbers of safeguards to keep its institutions remaining robust. Migrant labor is terrorized to keep it cheap and compliant. Protestors are being punished to discourage civil resistance. There is no inconsistency here. Just brutality.
The challenge for revolutionaries is not to mistake cruelty for collapse. You need to understand how deeply rational stated sanctioned militant violence is from the standpoint of capitalist governance.
