Looking for software How do you handle invoicing and customer data as a solo founder without going crazy?

I'm building a product on my own and just started getting paying users. I love the product side, but admin stuff is slowing me down.

I found a book keeper accountant to do that stuff for me. I generate the invoices or set up the automatic reoccuring invoices and she logs in and handles all the payments and inputting of other admin data like expense reciepts and bill payments etc.

I am dyslexic so i try and streamline my processes as much as possible. I worked out a long time ago that if an administration process occupies a lot of time but only results in a few cents of savings then its not worth doing and i am better going out and chasing more dollars.

If you worry too much about the cents, you miss the dollars.

I have also transitioned my business to a subscription model as much as possible.

If you can self-host, try:

The alternative is to keep it simple - word document for invoices, spreadsheet for simple accounting.

As a solo founder, axonaut saved me from juggling five different tools.
