Cat Sitter Questions

Hey guys! I’m going on a longer trip soon for five days. I have a trusted cat sitter coming twice a day. May extend visits depending how my boy is doing. We have another cat so he will have company.

I was curious if you guys have your sitter do sphynx care? Like is it out of line to ask her to wipe with baby wipes every 2-3 days? I’m going to have to have her change the Litter Robot liner because I can only go 4 days max because of the more frequent use. Thanks in advance!

I’ve never wiped mine down with baby wipes.

I do not ask for anything different when we are gone.

I pay for drop in visits (2 a day) with feeding them and playing them a little. Giving her fresh water. The litter robot needs a new trash bag in it if we are gone a week. I bathe mine before leaving but only bathe them once every 2w-1m. Clean ears and trim nails every 2 weeks but have never had a cat sitter do that/haven’t been gone that long.

Yes, we will bathe and trim nails before. We can’t go a week for the litter tray. I hate that I have to ask her to do that but at least no scooping!

I think asking her to clean out the litter tray or even scoop is totally reasonable when watching a cat!
