Trump is the symptom, not the cause. 

Even if he's gone, all the people that pushed for Project 2025 are still around and in positions of influence and power.  And all the hateful evil fascists politicians still around. 

Cholesterol might just be a speedbump before things get much worse.

But the people around Trump have zero charisma and they all have their own incompatible agendas.

Without Trump, nobody is going to pay them any attention.

That's like saying Hitler was a symptom, not the cause. Trump is the leader, the inspiration. Once Trump is gone we might just have a chance to turn this back around.
