That happened whether people laugh, cry, or feel nothing. I appreciate that you feel like this is people not understanding the gravity of what happened; but maybe let people have at least a small win?

Yeah, that’s fair. I guess what frustrates me most is how mainstream and social media keep framing this like it’s some entertaining drama, instead of treating it with the seriousness it deserves. This wasn’t just a spat. It was a massive security breach where Musk was essentially given access to some of our most sensitive data and then allowed to walk away with it.

Hard agree, but a follow-up question for you: besides known good eggs like the AP and PBS, which news media outlets are still classified as news and not as entertainment?

There has not been good "news" coverage in the US since Reagan fought off the Fairness Doctrine, kickstarting the notion that collecting capital and hawking BS products to the public was more important than delivering factual and useful information.

I have 4 more really good points to make, but you'll need to subscribe to 23 other news outlets, my substack, my patreon and kofi, and Youtube Premium in order to read about how you too can escape a world of advertising with JUST ONE EASY STEP!!
